My head was throbbing violently when I woke up the next morning. I groped around randomly and hit something soft.
I assumed it was Lorraine and was just about to say something when I heard a playful voice. "Why are you up so early? Are you that eager?"
It was not Lorraine's voice. I instantly sat up and looked at the woman beside me.
"Who let you in here?" I asked.
When she started to inch closer to me, I pushed her away.
"Hey, that hurts," she exclaimed.
Her body seemed to be incredibly flexible. She twisted around and tried to get closer to me again.
I warned her, "I never hit women, but today might be an exception."
There was no way I could have brought this woman here myself, so Fabian must have brought her here.
"Where's Fabian?" I asked.
I looked around. I couldn't even see any trace of Murphy, let alone Fabian.
Thankfully, my clothes were all still on me. I quickly put on my jacket and headed for the door. Just as my hand touched the handle, I heard the woman sobbing behind me.
"You're just going to leave like this? Do you not care about me?" she cried pitifully.
Sadly, I was not interested in women like this at all.
Even from across the room, her overpowering perfume assaulted my senses. It was obvious she had a lot of makeup on as well.
"We just slept on the same bed. How does that make me responsible for you?" I asked.
The woman clearly didn't expect me to reject her so coldly.
Was this a joke? Why should I take responsibility when I didn't do anything?"
Her eyes widened, and her hand trembled. "How could you say that? I... I…"
