Arthur grabbed Charlotte’s wrist and looked at her angry face. He swallowed, and his Adam’s apple rolled. He had a lot to tell her but finally resisted the urge. 

Arthur thought, “Should I tell her the truth? Then I will lose her, my satisfactory wife.”
