Dumping Him for His Uncle (Natasha and Zachary) novel Chapter 33

The PR department had already clocked out, so Julian was left to handle the aftermath by himself.

It would be another long night of overtime for him.

Zachary gave a light cough and replied, "I'll pay you 10 times the usual for your overtime tonight."

The deflated Julian immediately perked up with energy, as if he had just arrived at work early in the morning. "Consider it done."

After things had finally quieted down, Zachary took out his phone and looked at the messages he had received from Natasha. His fingers glided across the keyboard, but he soon deleted the message after thinking it over.

He repeated the process more than three times before finally giving up on replying altogether.

He then murmured to himself, "Is that all you want to say?"

Just as his words left his mouth, another message came through from Natasha. "I'm really sorry. I didn't expect to cause you so much trouble. I promise I’ll stay at least 30 feet away from you from now on. I won't come near you again!"

Natasha swore to her own words as she sent the message from her phone. She was not thrilled about having to do so, but the entire mess was her fault, after all.

Meanwhile, Zachary felt like he had hit rock bottom as he read Natasha's text messages.

Just as she continued to wallow in regret, her phone started ringing with a call.

Her expression immediately turned serious as she picked up the call. And she soon hung up after replying with a simple "Okay."

Hayden had just returned from a trip abroad and reached out to Natasha the very moment she got back.

Natasha no longer had anything to do with Matthew, but she knew she couldn't ignore Hayden's invitation, even if she did not understand why she was being invited.

The next day after work, she rushed to the meeting spot wearing a plain shirt and denim shorts.

Even with a mask on, her slender and fair legs still drew plenty of attention toward her.

"You must be Ms. Bradley. Ms. Simon's private room is this way. Please follow me."
