“Let’s go.” When Joycelyn heard Ellison’s voice, she immediately stood up and lifted her skirt as she walked over. 

“What did you get?” Joycelyn asked, looking at the paper bag he was holding. 

Ellison reached out to hold Joycelyn, who was wearing high heels, and replied gently. “Some snacks. Just to tide us over on 

the way. 

Joycelyn was surprised. She didn’t watch where she was stepping, letting Ellison lead her outside. 

Her clear eyes were sparkling, looking as if they were filled with dazzling stars as she stared at Ellison’s well–defined profile. 

“Mr. Grant, you’re such a nice person,” Joycelyn said sweetly after staring for a while. 

She did not address him as “Honey,” which was particularly intimate. 

However, the form of address “Mr. Grant” had a profound emotional effect on Ellison. 

“Thank you for the compliment, Mrs. Grant, Ellison said, holding Joycelyn’s hand as they walked out. He even made sure to watch over her as she descended the steps, saying. “Be careful”

Joycelyn got into the front passenger seat and buckled her seatbelt, sitting in a luxury car worth millions of dollars that she never dared to imagine.

“Okay” Joycelyn unbuckled her seatbelt, pushed open the door, and got out of the car, placing the unfinished snacks in the passenger seat.

She fished out a pair of large sunglasses from her handbag and put them on, covering most of her face.
