Suddenly, Ellison scooped Joycelyn up. She raised an eyebrow, curious. “How do you know that photographer?”
In his circle, aside from Haddy, who seemed to vibe with him, there was Leon, the flashy show–off. And this photographer
a total mess, definitely not the kind of person Ellison would usually hang out with.
was
“Well, we met on another island during a dive trip with Haddy and Leon. He got attacked by a shark, nearly became lunch. We saved him, and that’s how we got to know him,” Ellison said.
“I knew he was an underwater photographer, but didn’t know he was such a big deal.”
Joycelyn shuddered. “Wow, lucky guy. He owes you. He’d be shark bait otherwise.”
Ellison just hugged her tighter, ignoring Henry, and walked straight to the villa. “How’s your rest? Ready to try on the wedding dress?”
“Definitely!” Joycelyn was buzzing with excitement.
This whole thing felt so romantic. Who knows what the future held, but at least she was getting to enjoy this moment. When they stepped into the villa, Joycelyn was stunned. A team of 20 to 30 people was already working, and the whole living room looked like a luxury bridal store.
There were fishtail dresses, satin, lace, diamonds… it was all sparkling.
“Wow, this is crazy!” Joycelyn didn’t even know where to look. Everything here was way more impressive than the photos. Then bodyguards started bringing in boxes of jewelry from the cruise ship, each one more expensive than the last.
“These are all Grandma’s heirloom. Pick what you like,” Ellison said.
Joycelyn blinked, a little overwhelmed. “It’s just a wedding photoshoot. Isn’t this a bit…
Before Joycelyn could finish, she noticed Ellison’s gaze drop, and his expression darken. She quickly switched gears. “Alright, .that’s great. I’m gonna be the most beautiful bride today, and you’re the most handsome groom.”
“This is the special treatment for Mrs. Grant,” he said, his tone steady.
“Thanks, Mr. Grant,” Joycelyn replied, eager to keep things light
She knew being Ellison’s wife had its privileges, and anyone in her shoes would get the same treatment.
“Now, time to pick a wedding dress.” Without waiting for his response, Joycelyn headed straight to the dresses, eager to
choose.
“What do you like?” She glanced over the collection of beautiful, custom–made gowns.
eyes wide with excitement.
After everything he had done, she felt like she had to make him happy.
“Pick whatever you want.” Ellison shrugged as he slipped out of his suit and into another one, quickly tying His tie.
He settled onto the sofa, sipping coffee, and kept working, not bothering with the styling team.

Chapter 141
Joycelyn shot him a quick look, then turned her attention back to the dresses.
She didn’t overthink it, just picked the most glamorous one, a strapless gown covered in diamonds.
It made sense now why he had been so careful yesterday–no hickeys to worry about for the photoshoot.
“This one, please.” As soon as she chose, the staff moved in, helping her into the gown.
While she changed, Henry strolled over, eyeing the large stack of wedding dresses. William followed behind, carrying two boxes filled with pricey cameras and lenses. “Ellison, she’s actually trying all these dresses?” Henry asked, surprised by the sight. “Depends on what my wife wants. You in a hurry?” Ellison didn’t even look up from his work.
That cold vibe made it clear to Henry that if he said yes, he would be in serious trouble.
“No. I’m trying to lay low. There’s this rich girl who wants me to take photos of her, and it’s driving me crazy. So, I’m happy to hide out here for a bit.” Henry wasn’t one to follow the rules.
He had exhibits all over the world but didn’t care about the money or catering to the rich. He just liked shooting things that caught his interest.
With his royal background and top–notch skills, Henry was a big deal in the photography world.
“What’s your relationship with Jason?” Ellison asked.
“Ex–boyfriend,” Henry replied, causing both Ellison and William to freeze.
Ellison raised an eyebrow, shocked but trying to keep it cool. “You’re… gay?”
“It’s just that the person I like happens to be a guy, Henry said, like it was no big deal.
William looked like he was about to cry. After that hug from Henry, he felt like he wasn’t clean anymore.
Henry noticed William’s serious look and couldn’t resist teasing him. I like men, but not all men, alright?”
