Clement’s expression darkened further as he took a few steps forward. Freya instinctively stepped back. He spoke with deep frustration, “Freya, you must have been brainwashed by Louis! How could you think like this? I really like you! Louis is only holding on to you because he’s broke now. You can’t be this foolish!”

“Stop! Don’t come any closer!” Freya immediately raised her voice to stop him. “You keep saying you like me, yet even after seeing me struggling with these heavy bags, you didn’t think to help me at first.
