“Yes, her values are quite correct.” Louis felt that his perception of Freya had been somewhat biased.
Derek was pleasantly surprised. “Louis, looks like you’ve found a treasure! Listen to what she said, those money you spent on her weren’t wasted. She remembers your kindness. Ms. Stone’s character is flawless.”
“Mm.” Louis opened the car door. “I won’t be going out this afternoon. Handle the paperwork for the real estate, please.”
“Got it.” After Louis got out of the car, Derek drove off.
Louis had planned to head straight home, but after a moment’s thought, he decided to take a detour to the supermarket. When he returned and opened the door, he saw Freya sitting on the living room carpet in front of the couch, typing away rapidly on her laptop. The house was filled with a delicious aroma.
“You’re back.” Hearing the door open, Freya glanced up at him but didn’t stop typing, her hands moving swiftly.
Louis placed the fruit he had bought on the coffee table and walked over with curiosity. He noticed that Freya was facing a Word document and, upon closer inspection, realized she was writing a story.
