Seriously? Nothing can even go to air now, and somehow that’s the author’s fault? Like producers are just throwing money at shows with no return. These people clearly have no idea what it actually costs to make a series. These days, anyone with a laptop thinks they’re a writer. Doesn’t look that hard. Maybe I’ll give it a shot–write a novel, sell the rights, and boom, easy money! Yeah, sure. Go ahead and try. Sit down and write something–then you’ll find out real quick how “easy” it is to create a good story. Just having a computer doesn’t magically make you a writer.
“Come on, have a little decency. Sophia did them a favor by showing up for a cameo, and this is how she gets treated? That’s cold. Weren’t they supposed to be close? Guess that was all for show. This is honestly disgusting.”
“Clearly none of you get how production works. Do you even realize who Sophia is? If playing a minor role were really that simple, anyone with a clue would be a star by now.”
Freya kept scrolling, then stopped. Suddenly, it all made sense–how easy it was for people to believe whatever they saw online.
Most of the ones arguing on social media weren’t struggling. If you had the time, internet access, and a phone in your hand, chances were your life was pretty stable. A lot of them were educated, some with college or even advanced degrees.
And still, they were eating up half–baked stories and baseless rumors like they were facts. They didn’t even realize they were being used–just repeating someone else’s agenda without even knowing it. It was wild how quickly people would choose outrage over truth. No digging, no second thoughts–just reaction. It didn’t even matter what was real. All it took was a viral post or a trending hashtag, and the crowd would pick a side.
Suddenly, she didn’t feel like reading anymore. Freya tossed her phone aside and stared blankly at the ceiling, her mind spiraling.
it wasn’t deep. No real- She spent her days writing romance–love stories, heartbreaks, happy endings. Sure, sometimes there was a little hope or inspiration mixed in, but mo world analysis, no serious research, nothing rooted in politics or society. And lately, she wondered… Was that really enough?
But then again, for most people, wasn’t that what life was? Little laughter, a little heartbreak, shout at whoever crosses the line, and cheer for the ones who look good doing it. Simple, easy entertainment. Going with the flow until the years blur by. Maybe life never had much meaning to begin with.
Still… she wanted hers to mean something. She wanted to do more–something that

Freya let her thoughts drift. She stopped paying attention to Twitter altogether. Louis would handle it. And even if things didn’t get resolved, what was the worst–case scenario? People thought she’d wronged Sophia. Sure, it might dent her reputation a little, but it wasn’t life or death.
Give it some time, and the hype will fade. No one was showing up at her front door.
Her thoughts went deeper. This second chance at life–this was a gift. She couldn’t waste it. She had to do something that mattered.
Especially now that she had someone like Louis in her corner. With time, she’d build a name for herself and gain some influence. There was so much more she could do. The kind that could actually make a difference.
She hadn’t sorted it all out yet when her phone rang. She glanced at the screen–Aiden.
“Hey there, Aiden, what’s up?” She answered with a smile.
