The woman next to that man elbowed him hard in the ribs. Was that any way to talk? Louis hadn’t even walked far enough away–what, did he think Louis was deaf and couldn’t hear a word of it? “I don’t think it’s that simple,” the man muttered. “I’m not smart enough to fully get what’s going on between those two gods duking it out, but look–Mr. Louis doesn’t have any debt, and most of the Graham family transferred smoothly to the new boss. That means he could have fought back, but he chose to step aside. That’s what feels strange.”
