Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 421

Chapter 421

Carson invited Emily to dance, and since he had been taking care of her, she didn’t have the heart to refuse. So, she went along with him to the dance floor.

Andrew and the others also went to dance with their girlfriends, but no one dared to invite Estelle as they knew about her relationship with Jonathan.

Estelle didn’t know how to dance, and she had only changed her clothes to fit in. At this time, she went to sit on a sofa at the side, sipping juice slowly.

During dinner, she had had two cocktails and was feeling a bit tipsy now.

Suddenly, a tall shadow blocked the light. Estelle looked up and saw Jonathan’s handsome face with a serious expression.

Jonathan reached out his hand, “Wanna dance?”

Estelle shook her head, “I can’t dance.”

“I’ll teach you!” The man’s deep and dark gaze fixed on her face.

Estelle looked up at him, and seeing his insistence, she pursed her lips, got up, and gave him her

hand.

Jonathan gripped her hand tightly, leading her step by step towards the center of the crowd.

“Put your

hand on my shoulder!” Jonathan held her hand in one hand, and put his other arm around

Estelle glanced at the others around her and reluctantly placed her hand on his shoulder.

Jonathan led her to slowly step back and rotate. Estelle soon got her steps wrong and felt helpless.

The man, holding her waist with one hand, directly pulled her close to his chest, almost cradling her in his arms. He leaned down and whispered in her ear, “Remember when we went ice-skating together? Just trust me and leave everything to me!”

The dim light cast a smooth shadow on his chiseled jawline, and his intense masculine scent brushed past her ear, sending a shiver down her spine, making her feel numb all over.

Her mind was somewhat dazed, and her thoughts seemed to momentarily slip away. She just followed his instructions, letting him lead her and trying her best to keep up with him.

Jonathan held her waist tightly, gazing at her half-lidded eyes, her long and curled eyelashes casting

from an artistic shadow on her face. She was trembling slightly, and he couldn’t tear his eyes away

her.

The lights were dim, the music soothing and tender, with a touch of melancholy. The whole living room quieted down.

Jonathan initially wanted to explain the thing with Hattie to Estelle, but now he just wanted to hold her like this, walking slowly to the rhythm of the music.

A few people away, Yvonne turned her head and looked over. Amid the flickering shadows, she saw Jonathan’s gaze focused on Estelle’s face, and a heaviness settled in her heart.
