At that moment, Lacey didn’t expect Carlotta to surprisingly “persevere” at finding the restaurant where she was with Quincy. She had thought that by secretly changing the restaurant she had already successfully tricked her cousin.

Lacey’s mind was still on Quincy who was sitting opposite to her. She must make good use of this opportunity.

Thinking about Jane, Quincy’s heart felt desolate. He was afraid that from now on, he and Jane might become strangers.

“Since you are true towards her but she still doesn’t trust you, then maybe she never was as sincere about you as you are to her. Actually, you should try and let go of this feeling...” Lacey finished deliberately.
