My Mate Had A Girlfriend novel Chapter 16

He said, love. He loved me? I looked up and saw his eyes welling with tears and for once, I thought he look so broken. So, so broken that I badly wanted to fix him. But he had hurt me enough or I'd rather say a little too much - that the words that came out next from my mouth was unexpected.

"If you reject me, our wolf bonds will be disconnected and you don't have to worry about loving me. We can then move on with our lives, with whomever that we choose to be with."

"I already told you I am not going to reject you, whatever it is!" Calvin raised his voice. I hated it that he didn't want to reject me and also at the same time not allowing me to move on with someone else when he could live happily with Valerie. Calvin didn't love me. He only said he did because he had his wolf with him and of course his wolf would love mine. Simply because we were mates.

"I love someone else, and I want to live with him," I blurted out all of a sudden. I didn't mean it but I purposely wanted to trigger him and his wolf.

"No, you're my mate and I'm not letting you go whatever it is!" Calvin said, sternly through gritted teeth as he gripped my arm, causing me to wince.

"What's going on here?" We both turned our heads to the teacher-in-charge who was standing at the door, Mrs Lee.

I quickly put on a face and told her, "He's hurting me. I don't know what his problem is."

"You," she pointed to Calvin, "Let her go and sit right at the back of the classroom. Go now."

Calvin did as told and I had my peace for a second before my wolf decided to scold me.

Beatrix

Two hours of detention was one of the worst two hours I had had. Stomping out of the classroom, I was yanked back by none other than Calvin Young.

"We're not done talking, Beatrix," he stated, calmly.

"Oh I am done talking to you," I told him and tried to remove my arm from his grip.
