Don't rogues need sleep too?
Biting the palm of the hand, I was quickly freed from whoever's arm it was. "Beatrix, it's me!" Someone said and I was yanked back again, hitting my back on the person's chest.
From the voice, I already knew who it was. And I badly wanted to get away from him. "Let me go," I said stubbornly and removed myself from him. "What do you want?"
"We're not done talking Beatrix," Calvin said, the same thing over and over again. We were never going to be ever done talking.
"Not like this," I stated angrily, "I don't want us to be talking like this, secretly whereby you need to 'capture' me somewhere to talk. I don't want that. In fact, I don't want to talk to you at all. We can talk once you decide to reject me as your mate."
"Beatrix, I thought we're over this? I'm not rejecting you whatever..."
"Then let me reject you," I said bluntly, causing my wolf to suddenly whimper sadly. Did I make her sad? I didn't get much time to bond with my wolf because we were always not agreeing with each other especially when it comes to the topic; mate.
"Take back your words, Beatrix," Calvin said through gritted teeth as he stared at me like I was to be his next meal.
"No!" I yelled and in a matter of seconds, a dark brown wolf appeared in front of me. Calvin shifted and he was now growling at me. Was he mad?
I was then roughly being pushed down on the ground and Calvin quickly hovered over me, licking my face, my neck, my arms and everywhere else that was exposed. I let out an involuntarily moan and a few seconds later, I realized what Calvin was trying to do. He was trying to seduce into marking me.
