My Mate Had A Girlfriend novel Chapter 7

We continued kissing for a few minutes, taking a break to breathe in between and for a moment, I thought I was on cloud nine. It was wonderful to have him around me. I felt so calm and so safe and I for sure, didn't want to let him go.

But good feelings never last forever.

I suddenly felt my right arm being yanked down, followed by my left one. I whimpered at the pain as Calvin trailed his kisses down my neck. I didn't know if I was whimpering in pain or in pleasure. I was about to slipped my fingers into Calvin's dark brown hair but I felt another rushed of pain on both of legs.

"Cal...Calvin," I choked.

"Yes darling?" Calvin muffled on my lips. He seemed to be oblivious that I was in pain.

"Calvin, make it stop," I screamed.

"Oh, oh god! You're gonna shift soon," Calvin panicked. Was it midnight already? "Alright, just calm down."

I tried. I calmed down for a second before I felt as though someone hit me on my backbone with a baseball bat. It was painful. Calvin was holding me, trying to support my weight to stand. He was whispering comforting words to me but I couldn't get any. I also felt his hand moved behind me, removing the zip of my white dress which I believed had turned colour.

Then I felt another rush of a very excruciating pain all over my body before they slowly went away. I didn't know I was closing my eyes until I slowly feel the need to open them. My vision was blurred and I waited until they slowly regain. My vision was suddenly very sharp that I could even see a black bird, eating, about 50 meters away from where I was.

I felt something shifted from underneath me and surprised to have seen a light brown fur with some white streaks on my... leg? I shifted? Oh that was it? The pain didn't last very long but it was the hardest 20 minutes of my life. I would never want to experience any kind of pain like that anymore.

I looked underneath me again and saw Calvin, lying down on his back and smiling at me. "You shifted Beatrix, you did it!"

Of course I did it, I muttered to myself. Then I heard another voice, 'Don't be like that to him."
