Abandoned While Pregnant, Claimed by the Alpha novel Chapter 59

Chapter 59

Hebert issued the order: “From this moment on, everyone in the estate will fully cooperate with Ashley to prepare for the Independence Day celebration. Her orders are as good as mine.”

After saying that, he gave me a small nod, his deep eyes holding a quiet, unwavering trust. Then, without another word, he turned and left the estate, seemingly to deal with some pressing matter.

The moment he was gone, the suffocating aura that had blanketed the room lifted. The tension eased, and the air around us started to feel normal again-except for Cecilia, who was clearly furious.

Her sharp heels clicked loudly against the floor as she stormed toward me, stopping dead in front of the spiral staircase to block my way. She was like an enraged lioness about to pounce. “You two-faced liar!” she hissed, her voice low but dripping with venom. Each word seemed to grind its way through her clenched teeth. “You had the nerve to claim you had no interest in him, yet here you are, snatching power from me the first chance you get. You’re nothing but a shameless, pathetic bch!”

I stared at her face, twisted with jealousy, and felt nothing but annoyance. I was so done with this ridiculous drama between women over a man. “Power?” I let out a sharp laugh, stepping back to put some distance between us and the cloying mix of her expensive perfume and bitter jealousy. “Cecilia, are you confused? To me, this is just a job. I solve problems for him, fulfill my

commitments. That’s all.”

My gaze bore into her, cold and unyielding. “And honestly, if you’re so desperate to win Hebert’s heart, the last thing you should be doing is barking at me like this right now. Didn’t you hear him? He said it himself—my plan is ‘smart’ and ‘beneficial for the pack’s future.’ This is about his image and reputation as an Alpha. Publicly opposing me? That’s like slapping him in the face. Do you really think an Alpha who values maintaining his power would ever fall for someone who undermines him and makes him look bad?”

Her body trembled slightly with anger. “You… you just wait!” she finally managed to spit out, her words nothing more than a weak threat. “I’ll make sure you’re kicked out of the Bloodmoon Pack! Just you wait!” With that, she turned and stormed out of the hall, her humiliation trailing behind her.

I watched her retreating figure, but there was no sense of triumph, just a bone-deep exhaustion. At that moment, a group of older Omega servants approached cautiously. Their faces were filled with a mix of disbelief, gratitude, and quiet excitement.”

Ms. Ashley…” An elderly lady at the front spoke, her voice trembling slightly. “Is it true… can we really join the Independence Day celebration? Isn’t that supposed to be an exclusive event for nobles? We never even dared to dream about this…”

Looking at their wrinkled faces filled with hope, something soft in my heart was touched. I softened my tone, giving them a sincere smile. “The Bloodmoon Pack is home to all its members, isn’t it? You are part of this family, and you’ve worked tirelessly to keep it running. Of course, you deserve this honor-it’s yours by right.” I paused for a moment before adding, “But if there’s someone you should really thank, it’s not me. It’s your Alpha, Mr. Hebert. He approved this plan, and he’s the one who

extended this respect to you.”

As soon as I finished speaking, tears welled up in the Omegas’ eyes. They hugged each other in excitement, continually praising their Alpha.

I hadn’t expected that these words would have a far greater impact than I imagined.

Later that afternoon, my assistant Leo sent me an encrypted message with a link attached. I clicked on it-it was a widely circulated social network within the wolf community. One post had risen to the top, titled: “We Have the Most Compassionate Alpha in All of North America!”

On a forum post, an anonymous Omega user shared all the details of what happened this morning and even quoted my exact words: “The one you should thank the most is your Alpha.”

Suddenly, the entire wolfpack network exploded. Scores of Bloodmoon Pack’s Omegas flooded the comment section, expressing gratitude and admiration for Hebert. Members of other packs joined in, leaving messages about how lucky Bloodmoon Pack was to have such a progressive and compassionate leader. In just a few hours, Hebert’s reputation and influence skyrocketed like never before.

Then, out of nowhere, another headline dropped like a bombshell, shaking up the entire community.

A notification popped up on my tablet. The title was bolded in glaring red-“Blackwood Pack Charity Foundation Hit by Scandal! Massive Funds Missing, Orphanages and Charities Unite in Protest!”

The article featured a grim image of Brian surrounded by furious protesters. The leaders of the organizations that had once benefited from his so-called “generosity” were now holding banners, shouting at the top of their lungs, condemning him as hypocritical and heartless.

Brian’s POV.

My world is on fire. That photo on the news feed-me, the Alpha of the Blackwood Pack, surrounded by a mob of angry protesters. Their faces twisted with fury, like they couldn’t wait to tear me apart. Those so-called charity administrators who used to bow and scrape before me are now holding banners, screaming their accusations of my “hypocrisy” and “cruelty” at the top of their lungs.

Kael’s face was pale with fear. “Alpha,” he muttered, his head hanging low, avoiding my gaze.

“Explain.” I slammed the tablet down on the desk in front of him. The screen cracked over Hebert’s smug-looking face, shattering into spiderweb patterns. “Tell me why there’s a damn, gaping hole in our charity fund! Every single cent was supposed to be accounted for. With the amount we invested, we could’ve rebuilt the orphanages twice over without running out

of money!”

Kael’s hands shook, his whole body trembling as if he might collapse under the weight of my stare. His lips quivered, but no

words came out.

“Speak!” I barked.
