Chapter 94

Ashley’s POV

I struggled to open my eyes, but my eyelids felt as heavy as lead. The air reeked of moldy hay mixed with a pungent stench of urine, making my stomach churn uncontrollably. I shifted slightly, and the coarse rope around my wrists instantly burned against my skin like fire.

I was tied to a thick wooden pole, my legs curled up on the freezing, muddy ground. Damn it. I didn’t escape. After that premeditated crash, I had blacked out completely. Now, I was nothing more than a lamb trapped in the slaughterhouse.

The rusted iron door screeched unbearably, its sound slicing through the suffocating darkness of the cellar. A dim beam of light split through the room as the thug wolf with his scarred face swaggered inside. The stench of cheap malt liquor and weeksold sweat clinging to him was worse than the stench of a dead rat in a sewer. loomed over me, a disgusting smirk twisting his lips.

Awake already, my lovely Luna?He crouched down, grabbing my jaw roughly with his coarse fingers and forcing me to lift my

head.

I tore my face away from his grip, glaring up at him with eyes sharp as icy blades.

Don’t touch me, you filthy scumbag!I spat the words out, each syllable laced with venom.

He let out a piercing laugh, clapping his hands as he stood up. Still playing your high and mighty Luna role, huh? Give it a rest, Ashley. Three days have passed, look around you! Bloodmoon Pack’s Alpha hasn’t sent anyone to find you. He’s abandoned you, like tossing out a rotten rag. You’re nothing but a useless reject now. You’d be better off sticking with me from now onat least I can make you feelecstatic.

Abandoned? My heart clenched tight for a split second, but my brain quickly threw up a wall of reason. Hebert would never do that. He gave me three days. He trusted me with his personal guards.

You really think I’m going to believe this pathetic lie of yours? I met his gaze coldly and forced myself to stay composed, throwing out my final card. “You didn’t kidnap me for anything as simple as lust. Someone put you up to this, didn’t they? If it was just about your disgusting desires, you wouldn’t risk proyoking Bloodmoon Pack’s Alpha! Who is it? Who’s behind you?The rogue wolf froze midmotion, his expression flickering. A brief trace of surprise flashed in those bloodshot eyes before pure greed took over. He licked his cracked lips and let his eyes wander over my disheveled clothes, the result of my struggles. Well, well, didn’t expect that from youa woman without a wolf spirit, and yet you’ve got a sharp mind,he sneered, taking a step closer. His suffocating stench overwhelmed the air around me. Since you’ve figured this much out, I’ll make it simple. You just do your part and keep meentertained here. If I’m in a good mood, maybe I’ll spill the name you’re so desperate to hear.Dream on! Try touching me, and Hebert will skin you alive and nail your hide to the walls of Alpha Manor!I screamed at the top of my lungs, fear gripping my heart like icy claws.

He has no chance of finding this place! The rogue wolf dropped his pretense, letting out a beastly snarl as he lunged at me.

Get away!I thrashed wildly, kicking with all my strength, but my resistance was nothing against his brute force. Rip-The horrifying sound of fabric tearing echoed in the dark cellar. He yanked at my clothes viciously, and the cold, clammy air bit at my exposed skin.

Hebert! Help me!I cried out, tears streaming uncontrollably. Desperation surged through me as I fought to protect the child in my womb. I snapped my mouth open and sank my teeth into his pressing wrist, pouring every ounce of strength into the bite until the metallic tang of blood filled my mouth.

You bitch! He howled in pain, his hand retaliating with a hard slap across my face.

The slap, powered by a wolf’s brute strength, left my mind blank in an instant. A piercing ringing filled my ears, my lips split open, and warm blood dripped down my chin. My vision darkened; every ounce of energy seemed drained from my body. He

roughly grabbed the waistband of my pants, the sound of fabric tearing becoming the final straw that broke my composure. Despairdeep, suffocating despairengulfed me like an endless black hole. Moon Goddess, pleasesave me, save my child!

And then, in that critical moment-

Boom-!

The sturdy iron door of the cellar, along with half the brick wall surrounding it, exploded into countless pieces under the force of a terrifying, destructive power. Dust clouded the space like a raging storm sweeping through the Siberian tundra, filling the tight confines of the cellar in an instant.

The nogue wolf didn’t even have time to scream. A dark blur shot through the debris, and Hebert appeared, like a vengeful deity rising from the depths of hell. With a single hand, he gripped the bastard’s throat and lifted his massive body effortlessly into

the air.

You dared to lay a hand on her.” Hebert’s voice was unnervingly calm, cold enough to send shivers down the spine. It carried no anger, no chaosjust an unyielding promise of death. His long, powerful fingers tightened slightly.
