Chapter 30

Eureka: You got one?] Her the shifted instantly.

Eureka That’s an extremely good item. Risk and reward go hand in hand. When your use it, you get a limited window to explore a piece of land and gather materials.

(If you have a Resource Domain Card, I’m willing to trade Epic materials for it.)

Epic materials were something no one, not even in the Elite Trading Syndicate, was wiling to put up for trade. Eureka’s reaction was proof enough of just how precious a Resource Domain Card was.

Chloe: [I did get one. But I’m not trading it. I want to trade for information about it.]

Eureka: 150 Premium materials and one Rare material. Trust me, this is worth it. In exchange, I’ll share my own experience using one]

Chloe hesitated. The Rare materials she currently possessed were the Slime Essence, the Eyes of the Crimson Wyrm, and the newly acquired Wood Sprite Corpse.

The Eyes had come from her trade with NobleScalper. She had three of them, and their attribute as an Elemental Medium made them a crucial component for the Basic Arcane Defense Tower. She couldn’t trade those away.

She had other Rare items, but they weren’t equivalent in value. After weighing her options, she decided to trade the Slime Essence for this undeniably expensive piece of information.

Notification: [Player Chloe Bennett trades 50 Premium Wooden Logs and I Slime Essence for special information.]

Once the trade completed, Eureka sent her messages: [I got lucky I pulled a Resource Domain Card on day two. Mine was bound to an Island Zone.

[At the time, I had zero supplies. My food was completely gone. The only thing my Talent Points had shown me was that it would rain on the fourth day.

[All I owned was the starter fishing rod and a starter fishing net. The only chest I’d opened had given me just that one card. I didn’t have a choice. I used it.

[About ten minutes after activating the Domain Card, my whole territory started shaking. My vision blacked out ook ten minutes for the light to come back.

[When it did, my territory was sitting on a mid-sized island. Right next to the ocean. It wasn’t that dark, oppressive void surrounding our territories anymore.

(When I arrived, it was drizzling, different weather from my territory. The island was packed with usable resources. There were coconuts on the ground, shellfish and crabs on the beach, stones to pick up, wood to chop.

[The ecosystem inside the card was incredibly rich. Food wasn’t an issue, but plant life was still scarce. There were large patches of dead trees, but you could still chop them for wood.

[When I ventured deeper, I started noticing signs that the island had once been inhabited by humans. My condition was too poor at the time, so I didn’t get close.

[But I did discover something. While using the card, my territory, which was still just a six-by-six plot back then, suddenly had a Health bar. And a special Boundary Marker appeared in the center.

The system said if the Boundary Marker’s Health was destroyed, my Health would hit zero too.

So I didn’t push any further. I stuck to the outer edges, gathering haste paraveća damaged blueprint.

The resources deeper inside had to be ever richer, but the denger level would be higher co and saw a terrifying horde of nonsters further in

[Also, once you use the card, not only do you have to protect your territory, bra jauneck codes

Your System Backpack stops working. You have to use your own fools Ruery unge log I had in hand

[Your time on the island is limited. You can check it on the systern interface Ch and the trading You you’re inside.

[One more thing. The time when you enter doesn’t necessarily match the time inside the toman. When I was dusk in my territory. When I appeared on the island, it was just early morning!

It turned out Eureka was quite the talker. As Chloe watched her recount her figerience arcoxiary for th

surfaced in her mind.

Chloe: [Understood. Thank you.]

In Chloe’s analysis, Eureka’s account could be distilled into a few critical points.

First, when using a Resource Domain Card, securing the territory was paramount. Second, there maght dangerous creatures inside. Third, the domain contained abundant resources ripe for gathering

She thought it over and glanced at her own Domain Card’s description again: (Forest]

She’d likely need to prepare an axe, some defensive weapons, and a larger supply of Energy-restoring dew give herself a few more days to gather everything she needed before making any attempt.

With the rain still falling, Aqua Sphere was at maximum lethality. She’d hunt more monsters and open more meantime.

In her mind, the Basic Arcane Defense Tower had just shot to the top of her priority list.

The detail Eureka had shared, a Boundary Marker appearing and her territory suddenly having a Health bar was and immensely valuable. It stirred deeply unsettling thoughts.

A new urgency to strengthen herself pressed down on Chloe. She had to consider the possibility that one day Health bar might become permanent.

She drew a deep breath. She still had 5 unspent Talent Points. She could take her time deciding how to use them.

Zoe, the player known as AllNightGamer, had survived her brush with death. Her body was covered in wounds, and the hands gripping the Wooden Buckler and umbrella still trembled.

She’d finally killed the Mutant Timberwolf, in the middle of a rainstorm that kept piling debuff after debull on her. Notification: [Congratulations, Player ‘AllNightGamer’ Achievement unlocked: Death Delter

Upon receiving the Golden Chest, Zoe licked at the blood on her lips, bitter and metallic, and forced down the exhilaration

This was the first time she’d ever gotten a Silver Chest or a Golden Chest. The highest she’d ever seen before was a Wooden Loot Chest. She dragged her battered body over to the chest.
