CHAPTER HUNDRED TWENTY F
CHAPTER HUNDRED-TWENTY-1
DOMINIC
The next day, we were out of the house again. But this time, with the two little kids. Liam and
Gianna.
I saw the way Gianna’s face lit up the moment she realized that we weren’t taking just Liam, and she was coming with us. I could never make her feel left out. I had vowed that my child, or any child around me would never have to suffer the same fate I did when I was their age.
I was all about breaking that generational curse, and I was determined to make sure of that. Liam has been a blessing and a joy in our lives, and I wasn’t about to let anyone or anything come between the love and happiness he brings us.
Gianna is like my daughter, and she deserves a break. So, it was only natural that we take her out
with us.
And Liam was thrilled that his cousin was coming with us. He couldn’t stop smiling and hugging her, and it warmed my heart to see how much he adored her.
She was older than him, yet he already has that protective and loving feeling towards her. It was endearing to see how the love of a child could bring people together.
But I wanted something different for my children. I wanted them to be able to have their own friends, their own circle. I didn’t want them to grow up being lonely. I wanted them to have everything they needed.
And if that meant giving up my own life, then so be it.
I wasn’t a selfish man, and I would never force my children into a lifestyle they weren’t comfortable
with.
And if that meant changing a few things around the house, and making some drastic changes,
then so be it.
As a father, I would do anything for my children. Seeing Liam being protective at six makes me wonder how he would act once he has another sibling, probably a sister.
Hailey and I had never spoken about having a another baby, but I wouldn’t lie and say it hasn’t crossed my mind a few times. I wanted a big family, and I wanted to share everything with Hailey. She was my other half, and I was complete when I was with her.
It makes me wonder if she would ever consider having a second child with me. Liam was six, and in no time, he’d be a teen. I imagined a smaller version of Hailey, her twin, with the same gorgeous

face and sweet smile.

“You seem to be in deep thought.” Hailey’s voice interrupted my thoughts, and I turned to look at
her.
“Just thinking.”
“About what?”
“Stuff.”
“Like what?”
“Like, stuff.”
“Uh huh. Are you ever going to tell me, or keep it to yourself? You promised to never keep secrets
from me.”
“I know. It’s not a secret. I’ll tell you. Later. I promise.”
“Hmm. Fine.”
“Now, let’s focus on giving these babies as much fun as they can have. Guys, are you ready to have
fun?”
“Yes!”
The two kids jumped up and down, excited and happy.
I knew Liam would have a good time, but Gianna was another story. I could see her being a little hesitant, and the sadness in her eyes was enough to break anyone’s heart.
“What’s wrong, Princess?”
“Are you going to buy me a toy?”
“Of course, baby. We are here to buy lots of toys, and whatever you want. Gigi, I’m your second daddy, which means I’m going to take care of you, and buy you anything your heart desires. And you, mister, have to help me spoil her.”
“Of course, daddy. I can’t wait. Can we go now?”
“Yessss!”
Liam and Gianna hugged each other, and Hailey and I laughed.
“Ready, babe?” I asked her, intertwing our fingers.
