I paid him no mind as I circled around my desk, going to my drawer as my head banged. I rummaged through it until I found a box of Advil, popped out two pills, and swallowed them dry.

“You lost that right to me, Dominic. You made your choice by divorcing me, you are living your life

with the woman you love. Why don’t you let me live mine the way I choose?”

He banged on my table making me jump. “So you could fuck other men, huh? Is that what you

want? Freedom to spread your legs however you choose and let any man hit it? Is that the freedom

“Why do you even care, huh? You divorced me and abandoned me. You have no right over me. No right, Dominic.
