CHAPTER SEVENTY–SEVEN–1
DOMINIC
My mind was reeling and I couldn’t wrap my head around what I was seeing. My eyes wouldn’t move, and I couldn’t turn my head away from the sight in front of me.
There was no way.
This wasn’t happening.
This was all a dream.
I must have fallen asleep on the way home, and this was a nightmare. Yasmine’s hands were covered in blood, and her body was covered in a white cloth, tied with a black rope. There were black feathers, and ashes on the ground.
The stench of burnt flesh was the worst part, and I couldn’t believe that my wife was capable of such vile, wicked things.
It doesn’t take a genius to know what she was doing. She was performing black magic, voodoo and other rituals.
I was disgusted, and my skin was crawling with rage. Yasmine came from a lineage of witches, and her mother was evil and vile. But I didn’t think she would practice her ways, or do these kinds of things.
“Get the fuck up and explain what’s going on here!”
“Dom…”
“Shut the fuck up and answer me! What the hell is going on, and what are you doing? How long has this been going on?! What the fuck have you done, Yasmine? What the fuck!”
“Dom, calm down and listen to me. Okay, I can explain.”
“Oh, I’d fucking like to hear this. Get the fuck up, and get out of my house! Right now! Pack your shit and get the fuck out! Now!”
“I can’t, Dom. I’m your wife. You just can’t throw me out. This is my house, and you are my husband I have every right to be here. Stop making a big deal about this, and calm down, will you? Let’s talk, and figure this out privately.”
“Fuck you, Yasmine. And no, you know how much we despise evil in this pack, and just because you are my wife doesn’t make you an exception! You will be tried and punished, and then you will be casted out of this pack! You’re lucky that you are a woman, and not a man. Or you would have already been executed. Pack your shit, and leave! Now! Before I rip your head off!”
“Are you listening to yourself, Dom? You can’t just throw me out, and cast me out of the pack
She stepped closer to me, and I instinctively backed away “Guards!” I barked, and in seconds the door

“Yes, Alpha?”

“Drag her out and cuff her, call for all the town leaders and elders. Tell them we have an emergency and everyone needs to be present, immediately. Tell them to gather at the throne room. Yasmine has betrayed us and has brought shame and disgrace to our pack. She’s been practicing black magic, and I want her punished and tried. Call her parents as well.”
“No, please! Please, Dom. You can’t do this. We are family, and we’re married. You can’t do this to me. Dom, please. I’ll leave, and I will never come back. I’m begging you, Dom. Don’t do this, please. Dom, I’m begging you. I’ll do anything, Dom.”
The guards nodded and grabbed her, cuffing her and dragging her out of the room.
“Get your fucking hands off me you bastards! Dom, please. Don’t do this. Don’t do this, Dom. Dom, please!” Her cries and pleads were deaf to my ears. I couldn’t stand the sight of her, or even look at her.
I felt dirty and tainted.
I couldn’t believe she would betray her people like this, and commit such a crime. God knows how long she’s been doing this. I’m surprised she didn’t try to get her claws on Liam.
The thought of her anywhere near him, made me sick.
“Dom, please. Please, I beg you. Don’t do this.”
“Guards, shut her the fuck up.”
I walked out of the room and went downstairs. Taking my coat off, I threw it on the couch, and grabbed the nearest bottle of whiskey. It makes me wonder if she ever used black magic on me too.
I remember that the thought of it didn’t sit well when Hailey and Giovanni tried to make me see the signs, but I ignored them and brushed it off.

CHAPTER SEVENTY–SEVEN–2
CHAPTER SEVENTY–SEVEN–2
The thought was disturbing and vile.
I drank straight from the bottle, the warm liquid burning its way down my throat.
This was not how I expected my day to go.
Does this mean that there was a possibility that I was under a spell? That’s why I couldn’t move on, al didn’t see the signs of Yasmine’s betrayal?
But if I truly was, wouldn’t the spell be broken now that she’s been exposed? Wouldn’t it be gone, and
effects wear off?
A guard walked into the room, and informed me that everyone was gathered at the throne room.
I placed the bottle back and followed him.
Once there, I stood in the center, and watched as Yasmine was thrown on the floor in front of me.
She had her wrists and legs chained and her mouth was gagged. Her head was bowed, and her eyes w
red with tears.
“Bring her parents.”
“Yes, Alpha.”
A couple minutes later, they were dragged inside and thrown beside her.
“Yasmine! Oh my gosh, Yasmine. Are you okay? What is going on, Dominic. Why are we here?”
“Don’t act like you don’t know, Mrs. Aaronson. Are you telling me that you haven’t been practicing black magic with your daughter?”
Everyone gasped, and whispers started flying around.
“No, of course not! I would never do such a thing! Are you saying my daughter does voodoo?” Yasmine’s eyes widened at her mother’s words, and I could tell she was surprised that her own mother was going to lie and betray her.
“Are you telling me that you didn’t know, that Yasmine was practicing black magic and witchcraft? That she was committing a crime against our people, and has brought shame and disgrace to our pack?“”
“Of course not! She would never do such a thing. You are making things up, and this is outrageous. I would never support her if she were doing such a thing.”
“How dare you lie in front of my face and your daughter’s?! You have no idea what you’re talking about, and how wrong you are. I saw her with my own eyes. I caught her red handed and you expect me to believe you? Your daughter is a liar and a deceiver! She has betrayed us and I will not tolerate such vile, evil actions in my pack. Guards, go to her bedroom, bring out every single thing you find, and put it on display. Leave no corner unturned. Find her spell book and bring it to me, as well.”
CHAPTER SEVENTY–SEVEN–2
“Yes, Alpha.”
They left the room, and everyone was whispering, and judging. They were watching Yasmine and her mother. Some were disgusted, and some were shocked.
“You are lying, and trying to get my daughter into trouble. Everyone knows how you are. You always p my daughter, and you never liked her. She was never good enough for you, and she knew it. She didn‘ into your image and that’s why you have always hated her, and treated her like crap. You are jealous, you are taking it out on her. You have no evidence or proof of what you are claiming, and you are lying Guards, you need to believe me, and not the word of a man who is jealous of his own wife. You need arrest him and lock him up. He is clearly drunk and doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He’s making things up, and blaming her. He’s not fit to be an Alpha!”
Everyone ignored her and watched silently, as the guards walked in with a bunch of items, and laid th
the center.
They then placed a bag on the floor and took out a bunch of stuff.
Spell books, black candles, incense sticks, hemlock, dried blood and human flesh, and other things I d recognize.
Everyone was horrified and disgusted, and I couldn’t blame them. There was one thing that caught my attention though. It was a male doll, with a black cloth over its eyes and ropes tied around the body.
“Who is this doll supposed to represent?” I asked, dread filling my body.
Yasmine looked away from me, her body trembling.
“I will ask you one more time. Who is this doll representing?”
“Dom, I…I didn’t mean for any of this to happen. It wasn’t my intention.”
“I’m going to ask one more time, and if you don’t answer, then you will have to accept the consequences of your silence.”
She was crying and her body was trembling. She looked like she was in pain, and her heart was being ripped out.
“Who. Is. This. Doll. Representing.”
“You.”
The entire room fell silent. No one was saying anything, and they all seemed shocked.
“Did you practice voodoo, and other rituals on me?”
“Yes, but…”
“Silence!”
