I hoped she liked the surprise, and was happy.

I wanted her to have the best Christmas ever, and make up for all the lost ones.

I was excited, and was looking forward to the trip.

I finished up my work, and headed to Giovanni’s place. He would also be driving behind us in his car, as we were trying to get as much of our stuff into the cars.

We had decided that it would be easier and less chaotic, and we could spend more time enjoying

ourselves.

Giovanni rolled his eyes and shook his head. “For the last time, yes. She will be ecstatic. Now, stop worrying, and relax. She’s going to love it.”

“Yeah, you’re right. She’s going to love it. This will be the best Christmas ever, and I can’t wait.”

“Good. Now, get in your car. You don’t want to keep her in suspense. And I don’t want to keep my pregnant girl waiting. She’s very cranky, and her moods swings are getting worse. I can’t deal with a pissed off woman, so please let’s go before I get a earful.”

We got in the car, and headed towards Hailey’s house. I had sent her a text, and told her that I was

on my way.

She had sent back a heart emoji, and that was enough to get me through the rest of the day.

My palms were sweating, and my heart was racing. I couldn’t wait to see her, and to hold her in my arms. To breathe in her intoxicating scent, and feel her body against mine. To hold her tight, and

never let her go.

My body ached to have her near, and my mind was going wild with all the possibilities.

It was going to be a long ride, and I was going to have a hard time controlling myself.

My body was reacting, and it was going to be a hell of a ride.

I pulled into her driveway, and killed the engine. She was standing by the door, and was waving at

I got out, and walked towards them.

“Hi.” I said as I approached them.

“Daddy! Daddy!” Liam ran towards me, and jumped into my arms.

“Hey buddy. How are you?”.

“Where are we going?” Hailey asked, as I led her into the car.”
