Tammy grunted in pain, a seating ache shooting through her collarbone.

She’d actually broken it!

She didn’t cry out, just bit her lip so hard it drew blood. Their she sneered, “That all you’ve got?”

John’s temper exploded, “Hold her down! I’m gonna kill her!”

He was completely fired up, dead set on taking this woman out.

Right before the next swing, Lucas screamed, “Stop! I’ll tell you where the documents are!”

John slowly lowered his arm, a sick grin spreading across his face, “Why didn’t you say so earlier? Could’ve saved yourself a world of hurt.”

Lucas was gasping, pale as death, his eyes all for Tammy.

“Out with it. Where?”

“Let her go first.”

“Oh, you’re bargaining with me now?”

“Otherwise you’ll never find that file.”

John was losing his mind–especially seeing Lucas act like he still had leverage.

All that inheritance should’ve been his!

That so–called big brother was worthless!

He was already unzipped, ready to go, when Tammy glanced down and sneered with pure contempt, “Huh. Pathetic.”

John was fuming. He lunged to teach her a lesson.

But in that split second, Tammy–still supposed to be tied up sprang to her feet and kicked him square in the crotch with lightning speed.

The thugs froze, then realized–she’d gotten loose!
