Chapter 70

As we settled down, Nate got up and went up onto the stage. A guy

came rushing out of the curtains and handed him a microphone

before rushing away. Nate tapped on the top to test it before starting.

“Ladies and gentlemen, May I ask if you could all please settle

down so we can begin our night.” He stopped and looked around.

There was silence in the crowd. He smiled and carried on.

“Thank you all so very much for coming tonight to support our

charity. My father, Dwayne Cooper, couldn’t be here with us tonight

to thank you all personally but he sends his love and thanks through

the wonderful gift bags we have put together for you tonight. Most of

you are already aware of our charity but for those that aren’t, we have

a short video here for you.”

On cue, the lights dimmed and a projection screen came down in

front of the curtains. It started playing a video about the Coopers

Charity organisation. I had already seen it the video a few times while

we had been planing. I picked up a breadstick and started nibbling on

I hadn’t realised the silt on my dress had parted when I crossed

my legs. It had exposed a lot of both my thighs and the rest of my legs. It was literally only covering my underwear. I felt Blake move his

chair a little closer. He put one arm around the back of my chair and

leaned towards me. I ignored him and carried on nibbling my

breadstick, keeping my focus on the screen.

Suddenly, there was a hand on my thigh. I looked up at Blake who

was now very close to me. He gently squeezed my thigh and I gasped.

“I’ve made you promises that I can’t guarantee I can keep

tonight,” Blake whispered in my ear. His hot breath fanning across my

bare neck and my ears. He squeezed my thigh again and started to

gently stroke my exposed thighs. I was so glad Taylor made me get

my legs waxed for this dress. His warm hands were soft and I felt my

heart pick up speed.

I quickly put my hand on his and stopped him.

“Seriously? That’s what you have to say? How about you start with

something like, “you look beautiful“.” I whispered back at him. I

looked around to see if anyone had heard but everyone was engrossed

in the video.

Instead of answering, he grabbed the hand I had on top of his and

moved it to his crotch. He placed my hand on his inner thigh and

pressed my hand down. Through his pants, I could feel hard skin

instead of soft thigh skin. Without thinking, I squeezed and started to

feel for what he was showing me. I heard Blake groan and he pressed

his forehead to my shoulder. What the hell is his problem?

I kept moving my hand until I got to the top. Then it hit me. Shit!

I quickly pulled my hand back.

“Why the hell do you have a boner?!” I whispered at him, quickly

looking around again.

“You.” That was all he managed to croak out.

What? Did he get a boner from how good I looked tonight?

Before I could say anything the video finished and Blake straightened up. The lights came back on and I watched Blake straightened his jacket. He grabbed the napkin on the table, opened it up and placed it on his lap before pouring himself another glass of

water and chugging it down.

Nate’s voice boomed on the speakers “thank you for watching that everyone. As per normal, we will have the auctions start with the smaller items before moving on to the larger ones. We all know that the Cooper Vacation homes are up for auction tonight as well. We hope you get to spend a nice vacation with your family at one of our many homes. I wish you all happy bidding and once again, thank you all for your love and support. Before I had the mic over to our auctioneer, I have a little announcement to make.” He stopped and

looked down at Blake and me.
