Back in Time to Fall for Him novel Chapter 103

Benjamin stood in the middle of the office, keeping a close eye on Sam, who was working through a stack of paperwork with his head down.

Upon hearing him, Sam froze for a moment before answering without looking up. "I won't see Madison."

Benjamin exhaled softly. Sam was still pissed and nowhere near forgiving Madison, and not seeing her for even a day felt like a win. His thoughts started to drift until Sam's cold voice cut in again.

"Get me the earliest flight to Marowa. Once it's confirmed, we're going straight to the airport."

Benjamin blinked, snapping out of his trance before nodding quickly.

Half an hour later, a black Volkswagen sedan pulled out of Goodwin Corp's parking lot.

Madison lifted her head. It wasn't Sam's car, so she looked away and stayed curled up by the flowerbed with her arms around her knees.

She had no idea the person she had been waiting for was inside that black sedan.

Sam stared out the window as Madison disappeared from view. He pressed his lips together and looked away.

He didn't actually need to fly to Marowa, but when Benjamin mentioned Madison was still waiting outside, something in him softened for a second. Still, he had already given her a second chance.

Hence, Sam told Benjamin to book the trip, deciding he would handle the bid himself. If he didn't leave, he was afraid he would cave again.

Time dragged, and daylight faded into dusk.

Employees started filing out of Goodwin Corp. The moment they spotted Madison crouched by the flowerbed, their faces soured.

"How does she still have the nerve to show up here?"

"She nearly dragged the whole company down with her."
