Back in Time to Fall for Him novel Chapter 105

Madison stared at Edmund, stunned. "What did you just say?"

Edmund repeated, "Mr. Goodwin went to Marowa, and nobody knows when he's coming back. Waiting here won't change anything!"

Sam was gone? He didn't even mention when he would be back.

Real panic finally hit her.

"No. No way… You're lying. That's just an excuse because he doesn't want to see me. Yeah, it has to be. Tell him I didn't betray him. I already found something suspicious."

Madison looked him straight in the eyes, begging as tears streamed down her face.

Edmund froze for a moment. He had watched Madison grow up and had always seen her as a spoiled, stubborn heiress. Even when she needed Sam's help, she acted as if everything should bend to her will.

In fact, Edmund never saw Madison cry like that.

Even so, he shut it down fast. In his mind, the pitiful weren't always innocent. Madison didn't deserve his sympathy.

His expression remained cold. "Ms. Quinn, stop making a scene, or I'll have someone throw you out. Do you really want Ardelisse running a headline tomorrow about you getting kicked out of Northcrest Villa? That'll tank Quinn Group's stock."

Madison met Edmund's icy stare, and her sobs died in her throat. She forced herself to pull it together.

Edmund finally eased up when she stopped falling apart.

Sam claimed he no longer cared about Madison anymore, but Edmund knew he was just upset. If anything actually happened to her, Sam would be the first one to lose it.

Edmund told her to leave again. "Ms. Quinn, if there's nothing else, please go. You're not wanted here."

He didn't even look back as he turned and walked away.

Madison stood there, watching him go.

A moment later, the moving crew leader walked over and asked cautiously, "Miss, do you want us to move all this?"

Madison blinked at him. Then she looked at the pile of luggage by the gates before forcing herself to say, "Yes!"

She didn't have a choice. Edmund wouldn't open the gates, and she couldn't just leave everything sitting there.

More importantly, her stuff didn't matter at the moment. She needed to find out if Sam had really gone to Marowa. She pulled out her phone and called Janet.

"Jan, can you help me check Sam's itinerary?"
