Back in Time to Fall for Him novel Chapter 161

When Sam spotted Sienna, he frowned at once, displeasure flashing in his eyes.

His tone also turned colder. "How did you find this place?"

"Mr. Goodwin, Mr. Goodwin Senior didn't see you at the office, so he was very upset. He sent me to look for you."

Sienna didn't dare admit she had come on her own.

She glanced at Madison beside him. She could barely suppress the jealousy and loathing in her eyes.

Madison noticed her gaze but acted as if she hadn't. She just quietly stood to the side.

When Sam heard Sienna had come on William's orders, his expression eased a little.

But his tone remained icy, brooking no argument. "Go back and tell him I won't do whatever he wants me to do. If he wants to replace me at the company, he can do as he pleases."

Taking over Goodwin Corp was never his choice. And it wasn't that he couldn't leave the company.

It was that Goodwin Corp couldn't leave him. If not for his father's dying request, the company would've vanished from Ardelisse more than a decade ago.

Sam no longer paid Sienna any mind and pulled Madison away.

As Sienna watched the two of them from behind, she clenched her fists at her sides. However, she didn't try to stop them.

Sam's attitude just now had been more than clear—if Sienna pestered him any further, she would only earn his disgust.

Besides, this trip was mainly to show William how virtuous she was.

Madison quietly followed Sam out, but just as they reached the door, her stomach twisted with discomfort.

She tugged at Sam, who was about to head out. "Sam, I need to run to the restroom. You can go wait for me in the car."

"Do you need me to go with you?" Sam blurted out without thinking.

When Sienna walked out, she came across this scene. Jealousy and hurt stabbed through her. She had been at Sam's side for nearly a decade, but she had never received a shred of warmth from him.

She looked at Sam, then in the direction Madison had gone. A dark light glinted in her eyes, and she headed in the direction Madison had gone.

In the restroom, Madison glanced at her pants stained with blood and immediately sent Danielle a message. She then sat on the toilet, waiting.

Sienna came to the restroom, intending to wait for Madison to come out. They could have a proper talk then.

But after waiting several minutes without seeing anyone, she grew worried that Sam might come looking if she delayed any longer, so she went straight in.

Madison heard footsteps and assumed Danielle had arrived. She even thought Danielle worked fast.

She opened the stall door. "Dan—"

Before she could finish, she saw Sienna outside the door. She instantly frowned and, without thinking, moved to shut it.
