"Wait!" Sienna strode to the stall and braced one hand against the wooden door.
Madison widened her eyes at her. "Seriously? You're even fighting me for the toilet?"
"Who wants to fight you for a used toilet!" Sienna retorted on instinct.
Madison blinked and looked at the hand pressed to the door. That look seemed to ask, "Isn't that what you're doing?"
Sienna's expression stiffened. But then, remembering her purpose, she said bluntly, "I'm here because I have something to say to you."
Madison hesitated briefly before responding, "Can't you wait until I come out?"
"No." Sienna shook her head in refusal.
Regardless of whether Madison agreed to talk here, Sienna continued anyway, "Madison, you heard what Sam and I talked about earlier.
"For you, Sam defied Mr. Goodwin Senior, even to the point of giving up Goodwin Corp. Don't you think you're selfish and ignorant?"
Madison's expression instantly cooled. "What do you mean?"
Sienna met her gaze and retorted, "I should be asking you that. You clearly used to hate Sam, but now you're constantly together and as close as a couple. I don't believe it when you say there's no ulterior motive.
"Madison, no one should be without a conscience! Sam has cleaned up so many messes for you and treated you well enough. You shouldn't set your sights on him!"
Madison let out a disbelieving laugh.
Perhaps because her emotions were spiking, the discomfort in her lower abdomen began to cramp. Still, with Sienna, she didn't want to show weakness.
Madison forced herself to endure the discomfort. She crossed her arms and sneered. "Ms. Scott, you've got quite the imagination. It's a pity you're not writing novels!"
