"If that's the case, we have nothing to talk about." Madison didn't want to waste time on Sienna, who only listened to what she wanted to hear.
With an icy expression, she stared at Sienna and warned her. "Sienna, let me make this clear. You can try to pursue Sam—I won't stop you. But don't reach your hand into my territory. I'm not easy to mess with."
Madison wasn't being magnanimous. It was because she knew Sam wouldn't be interested in Sienna. She also knew he would never betray her.
Sienna stared blankly at the suddenly imposing Madison, and her heart skipped a beat. She had never seen Madison like this.
Just then, the sound of leather shoes tapping on tile came from outside the restroom.
Worried it might be Sam, Sienna suppressed her surprise and said coldly, "I hope you keep your word."
With that, she turned and left without caring what Madison felt. But as soon as she stepped out, she nearly bumped into Danielle, dressed in a black women's suit.
Perhaps Danielle had a sharp demeanor that made her seem unapproachable. Sienna subconsciously picked up her pace and walked away from the restroom.
Danielle instinctively glanced at Sienna, then headed straight toward Madison.
"Ms. Quinn, here are the things you asked for." She handed Madison a shopping bag.
Just after leaving, Sienna heard that sentence and realized the intimidating-looking person was with Madison.
It was no wonder Madison had been so confident while warning her earlier.
With her thoughts spinning wildly, Sienna hurried off. She needed to go back and push her father again for results.
After changing into new pants, Madison returned to the car. Her face was a little pale.
Sam immediately noticed she had changed clothes and looked unwell. He asked with concern, "What happened? Why do you look so pale? And why are your clothes different?"
