Chapter 203 The White Tiger In Trouble
Unless Sierra was genuinely pissed off, one’d rarely see her with a cold look on her face.
Everyone was dying to know who had just appeared on the live stream.
Curiosity got the best of them, and they quickly rewound the footage, finally grabbing a quick screenshot of the guest’s face in just a split second.
But once they saw who it was, the chat went dead silent.
One commented: [Isn’t that Sierra’s actual mom?]
Another commented: [No wonder Sierra’s expression changed in a flash. If it were me, I’d probably go off on her.]
One commented: [The Sterlings are so disgusting. Sierra doesn’t want to go home, and she doesn’t even like you guys. Can you just disappear from Sierra’s world already?]
A comment read: [Isn’t this account Sierra’s top three supporter? It was always some mysterious account. I thought it was a big shot. Now it just feels so creepy.]
One commented: [Is this just lurking in the shadows?]
A person commented: [Can’t Jimmy control his wife? Stop parading her in front of Sierra. Sierra just wants to focus on her career!]
Right after that, people online blew up the Sterling Group’s Twitter account, spamming it with comments.
Sharon watched the flood of hate in the comments, feeling both scared and miserable.
She knew she’d been a lousy mom and screwed up more times than she could count. But she couldn’t stand the thought of losing Sierra, so she just wanted to make up for it somehow.
She’d always kept quiet, just following Sierra’s streams in the background. Today, she finally tried to join the call, never expecting that Sierra would actually see her.
She thought maybe Sierra would talk to her this time, but before Sharon could even say a word, Sierra’s expression soured,
and she cut the stream off.
Sharon’s eyes brimmed with tears as she tried to type through the flood of comments scrolling by: [Sierra, I’m so sorry. I just want to see you and tell you I’m sorry.]
Sharon had been crying so much lately that her eyes were practically swollen shut, and it took her ages to type out the
message.
But just as she hit send, she realized her comment wouldn’t go through.
Then, she was kicked out of the live stream.
Sharon tried everything she could think of, but in the end, she had to face it: she’d been blocked and kicked out of the stream for good.
Her DMs were swamped with nasty messages from viewers.
Feeling helpless, Sharon just shut down her account.
On Sierra’s end, the instant she saw Sharon pop up, it made her sick to her stomach. But she shook it off fast.
Sierra quickly spun the wheel again and randomly selected another viewer for the call.
By 11:30 PM, Payton and Solomon were both out cold. Solomon was sprawled across the sofa, half on and half off, while Payton was curled up on his belly, already snoring away.
Payton was curled up on Solomon’s belly, already snoring away.
Sierra said, “It’s getting late, so I’ll pick one last person for a guest call.”
One commented: [What? I just joined and you’re already wrapping up the stream?]
Another commented: [Sierra, midnight’s still early! Stay on a bit longer, please?]
One commented: [Sierra’s been working all day and still streaming at night. Making it to midnight is already impressive.] Another commented: [Babe, pick me!]
Sierra clicked on a green avatar.
Someone exclaimed, “Oh my god, did she pick u

The video on the other end was a bit choppy.
It was already dark, but one could tell these guys were outside. There were tents behind them, and the trees were still covered in thick snow. Everyone’s nose looked like Rudolph’s from the cold.
With the New Year just behind them, spring was starting to creep in across the country.
Sierra had already switched to a light jacket, so seeing these people bundled up in heavy coats made her do a double-take.
“Do you guys have any questions?” Sierra asked.
A guy replied, “Yeah, we do!”
All the guys on the other end nodded, hands tucked into their sleeves, sniffling and trying to look tough, but you could tell they were freezing.
Emery was practically buzzing with excitement as he stepped into the frame. He said, “Hey Sierra! We’ve been following your channel for a long time. Honestly, we just wanted to try our luck. I can’t believe we actually got picked on our first try!”
Emery couldn’t wait and jumped right in before Sierra could say anything. He said, “Let me introduce us real quick. We’re with the Forestry Bureau in Darkmoor, and right now we’re way out in the Greenridge Mountains.
“We saw your live stream where you rescued Milo, so we’ve got a problem kind of like that, and we’re hoping you can help us out.”
Emery began to lay out the whole story for Sierra.
Their main job was patrolling the mountains, sometimes rescuing animals they found in trouble.
Emery said, “We were out on patrol today when we heard something moving nearby. We went to check and found a white tiger trapped in a cave, its paw caught in a snare. It was surprisingly smart. It came out to us, clearly seeking help.
“We managed to free its paw from the trap, but when we tried to treat the wound, it suddenly turned aggressive. It knocked one of my coworkers to the ground and darted back into the cave, refusing to come out.
“Whenever we got close, it would snarl and threaten us, but never actually pounce.”
Wild tigers were seriously dangerous, so hearing Emery describe all that, it just didn’t add up.
Sierra asked, “Maybe that’s its cave?”
Emery replied, “No way. We walk this route every month. That cave is where we rangers hang out and rest. It reeks of people. No wild animal would ever settle down there.”
Emery paused for a moment before saying, “But the most important thing is, this is a wild white tiger. We’re talking about an incredibly rare animal here. And right now, it’s in critical condition.

“The trap basically tore right through its paw, and at this point, the only thing keeping the bone and paw together is a bit of tendon. If we don’t act fast, it’s not going to survive.”
Sierra asked, “What about the local rescue team?”
“They’re here too,” Emery replied, panning the camera around. Sure enough, there were people in all kinds of work uniforms milling about.
Emery continued, “The tiger’s holed up inside, and there’s so much brush and undergrowth that even our drones can’t get through. We know you’ve got tons of experience with wildlife rescues, Sierra, so we’re really hoping you can help us figure out what’s going on here.”
Sierra said, “Wildlife rescues are something I handle in person, not online. DM me your location. I’ll hop on a flight right away.”
With that, she ended the call without another word.
Everyone in the chat was stunned.
They thought, ‘Seriously? She’s moving that fast?’
Sierra didn’t bother to check what everyone was saying online after she logged off.
She dropped a message in the wildlife rescue team group chat, and not even ten minutes later, the whole crew was already outside her room, backpacks slung over their shoulders, ready to roll.
Sierra said, “Appreciate you guys. I’ve already booked our flights to Darkmoor. We should get to the spot Emery sent us around five in the morning.”
Ethan said, “Why are you being so polite? Got your stuff packed?”
Timothy snickered like a monkey and said, “Sierra, we should be thanking you! Ever since we teamed up with you, we’ve had way more missions than before.

“Back in Coliburg, we spent all our time dealing with polar wolves. Sure, life went on, but it was nowhere near as interesting as it is now.
“Life’s just different depending on who you’re with.”
Timothy glanced at Ethan and grinned. He said, “Lucky me. I’ve never seen a wild white tiger before.”
