Penny’s hundred–day party kicked off with a bang.
On the day of the hundred–day banquet.

The venue Joshua Garcia had booked was bathed in golden light. What was once a stiff, formal hall had been completely transformed by Joshua’s playful touch–now it radiated pure childhood joy.
Balloons of every color drifted through the air, while colorful stuffed animals and toys filled the floor below.
The guests were all big shots in Jupiton–either loaded or born into money. Usually, they only showed up at fancy parties where everyone was dressed to impress, all classy and elegant.
But this was the first time they’d ever found themselves at a party bursting with pure childhood fun.
Xylia had really dressed up for the day, rocking a soft pink qipao. Her hair was styled in an elegant updo, and her makeup was classy and flawless.
She walked arm in arm with Joshua Garcia, both holding wine glasses, smiling and nodding to everyone they passed.
Meanwhile, the star of the show, Penny, was being accompanied by Eliza and Aaron.
The two middle–aged folks, who had just become grandparents, were absolutely over the moon.
Even Aaron, who was usually all business and never cracked a smile, now had a gentle, grandfatherly grin on his face.
Some of the Sadlers four brothers stuck close to Eliza and Penny, while others, like Kaden, were using the party as a chance to network and make new connections.
But Kaden was always the center of attention—even if he didn’t bother reaching out, people would still flock to him.
Connor was the one who made his way over.
Kaden hadn’t expected to see Connor at the party, and he was instantly on guard, thinking to himself, “What’s he doing
here?
“Mr. Sadler, you don’t have to look at me like that. I was actually invited to Penny Garcia’s hundred–day party,” Connor said with a casual smile.
That threw Kaden for an even bigger loop.
His little sister never said anything about inviting Connor.
Xylia would never invite Connor, not in a million years.
Connor flashed Kaden a simile, seeing right through his confusion.
“Mr. Garcia was the one who invited me, Connor said.
His mood instantly chilled.
Kaden cast Connor a cool glance. “Mr. Ford, I don’t care how you got in. Since you’re here for Penny’s hundred–day party just behave yourself and don’t do anything unnecessary
Connor raised an eyebrow, a mocking smile tugging at his lips.

“Mr. Sadler, if I hadn’t divorced Xylia, you’d be here for the hundred–day party of our kid,” Connor said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
“If I’d found my sister sooner, I never would’ve let her marry you,” Connor added, his voice cold and sharp.
Kaden gave Connor a disdainful look, then slowly stepped closer, closing the distance between them.
“If anything goes wrong at this party tonight, I’m holding you responsible. You’d better watch yourself,” Kaden warned, his voice low and dangerous.
With that, Kaden turned and walked away.
Connor just stood there, clutching his wine glass so hard his fingers nearly crushed it–he was so pissed, it looked like he might shatter the damn thing any second.
Xylia caught sight of Connor and Kaden having a conversation from across the room.
Whatever Kaden said, Connor’s expression soured instantly.
She frowned slightly, thinking to herself, ‘What’s Connor’s deal today?‘
‘What’s Joshua planning?‘ she wondered.
Just as she was lost in thought, Joshua reached over and turned her head toward him. She looked up, only to catch his annoyed look.
Joshua grumbled, “What are you looking at?”
Xylia instantly knew he was jealous.
She just smiled, took his hand, and intertwined their fingers.
“I was just checking to see who my big brother was chatting with,” Xylia replied casually.
“Did you see anything?” Joshua asked, still sounding a bit jealous.
Joshua’s voice was still tinged with jealousy.
Xylia’s smile widened as she gently squeezed his hand.
“Nope, didn’t see a thing. You’re so jealous,” she teased.
Joshua dicked his tongue. “Did you just call me jealous?”
“Why not? Xylia replied, her eyes clear and direct
When Joshua met Xylia’s straightforward gaze, he surrendered right away
Of course she can call me jealous, Joshua thought, feeling a bit defeated
Just as long as she doesn’t call anyone else that, it’s fine; he added to himself.
Before anyone knew it, the ceremony was underway.
Penny was dressed in a bright red outfit, with a matching red knit hat on her head. Her fair lute face popped against all that red, round and cute as a button.

There was a small round table set up on stage, covered with a soft blanket.
Penny was gently placed on top of the table.
She was still at that stage where all she could do was lie on her tummy, so her grandma had to prop her up to sit.

Penny looked out at the crowd below, not scared at all. Her big round eyes swept over everyone, and she let out a happy giggle.
Penny was absolutely adorable–her skin was soft and fair, her little face was perfectly round, and her eyes were huge. Even though she was still so young, you could already see how delicate her features were.
The older folks in the crowd just melted when they saw her.
“She’s just too cute,” one of them cooed.
“With parents that good–looking, of course their daughter would be adorable,” another chimed in.
“Looks like Jupiton’s about to have another little stunner,” someone teased.
Everyone was chattering at once, all showering Penny with praise.
On stage, Eliza and Aaron had the little silver lock all set for the ceremony.
Once the ceremony started, the two elders hung the little silver lock around Penny’s neck.
They shared a few heartfelt blessings.
The crowd below chimed in with their own good wishes.
Xylia watched everything unfold with a warm smile, her eyes getting a little teary from all the happiness.
She turned to Joshua, catching his gaze just as he looked her way. They both smiled, sharing a quiet moment together.
The ceremony moved along quickly. After Eliza and Aaron presented the silver lock, the Sadler brothers brought out their gift for Penny.
Each gift was more lavish than the last.
Kaden, true to form, gave Penny a stake in Sadler Group.
Hudson handed her the keys to a flashy sports car.
Leon gave her a crown covered in diamonds and a gold bracelet
