Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 110

Raelynn looked over.

Seraphina was flipping through her documents, not even bothering to look up.

She spoke with a perfectly natural, entitled tone.

Sitting further down, Rina quickly stood up. "I'll do it."

Only then did Seraphina look up, giving her a sweet smile. "The drinks are right next to Raelynn. Everyone is busy discussing the project. I noticed Raelynn couldn't keep up with the technical points, so I figured having her help out would make her feel included."

Raelynn was momentarily confused.

Me?

Couldn't keep up?

She had no idea how Seraphina came to that absurd conclusion.

But looking over her shoulder, she realized that at some point, neatly packaged cups of hot drinks had been placed on a cart right behind her, perfectly within arm's reach.

Everyone turned to look at her.

Raelynn knew Seraphina was just flexing her authority to treat her like a servant.

But the tricky part was that she wasn't just serving Seraphina; she was serving the entire room. If she threw a fit and refused, she would look petty and overly sensitive.

She had to admit, Seraphina's manipulative social skills were top-tier.

Preston turned around. "Everyone can just grab their own."

Raelynn didn't bother making a fuss. She stood up. "Keep discussing. I need to stretch my legs anyway."

She had already mapped out the targeted therapy they were debating; it was child's play to her.

As far as she was concerned, accelerating the project's timeline was the only priority.

Rina and the others looked at Raelynn gratefully. "Thanks, Boss Ortiz."

Raelynn smiled back.

She looked down at the drinks.

Fruit tea for everyone first thing in the morning? She thought it would have been coffee for energy.

Could it be...

Raelynn frowned, shooting a suspicious glance at Sebastian, who was looking down at his proposal.

The Kingsford team accepted the drinks from Raelynn and turned to smile at Seraphina and Sebastian. "Thanks, Seraphina, but why fruit tea?"

Seraphina smiled gently. "I caught a chill yesterday and have a bit of a cold. Sebastian was worried I'd drink something cold, so he didn't order coffee. This tea is great for your health, everyone should try it."

"Mr. Croix is so thoughtful!"

Another wave of envious sighs swept the room.

Raelynn was so numb to it that she wasn't even surprised.

But it made sense.

Why would Sebastian remember her period?

Even if she dropped dead right here, he would probably just tell her to die somewhere else so she wouldn't get in his way.

Seraphina then whirled around to face Raelynn. Her smile was completely gone, replaced by a furious glare. "No one blames you for not understanding the meeting, but you can't even handle a simple task like this? Can you take responsibility for this?!"

Her scolding tone.

She acted with the absolute self-righteousness of an actual wife.

Raelynn's patience snapped. "Why don't you ask him exactly how he wants me to take responsibility?"

Since they weren't divorced yet, she'd love to see how he expected her to apologize!

Resentment flashed in Seraphina's eyes.

Was Raelynn trying to flaunt her status as Mrs. Croix right now?

How pathetic!

"No one wanted this to happen. Wasn't it just a loose lid from the shop? Raelynn was doing a favor, not her job. Besides, the person she would have burned was Mr. Croix. There's no need to lose your temper, Ms. Vance," Preston's face went cold.

The other woman was really trying to pull rank on the actual wife?

Hearing this.

Seraphina's frown deepened.

Because it looked exactly like Sebastian was prioritizing Raelynn's safety over his own!

She was deeply uncomfortable.

Naturally, she was furious.

Someone from Kingsford finally processed the scene and quickly tried to smooth things over. "It makes sense. Given the angle, Seraphina could have easily been splashed too. Mr. Croix was probably just worried about her getting burned."
