Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 762

Zella stared at him for a long moment.

"Still hung up on her?" she challenged.

Sebastian merely replied in a flat voice,

"Think what you want."

He was so dismissive he wouldn't even offer an excuse, letting her wild assumption stand as fact.

Zella had never been rejected in her entire life.

But mixed in with her furious pride was a thrilling spark of desire. Completely unfazed, she met his arrogance with her own. "I don't care if you're still pining for her. I'll just have to rip her out of your heart myself."

Sebastian couldn't even be bothered to show a reaction.

He stared blankly at the silver lighter in his hand.

Lost in his own dark thoughts.

Raelynn actually had a completely free afternoon.

She wandered the mall and bought herself a small osmanthus cake. Her mood had mostly recovered.

As for Sebastian and Zella, she was positive the match would be a success.

Zella's elite background was the perfect compliment to Sebastian's status.

A true union of equals.

Plus, Zella possessed the kind of flawless, striking beauty no man could resist. She was proud, fiery, and completely unburdened by baggage. Sebastian would undoubtedly be highly satisfied.

While Matilda's ambush had been incredibly insulting...

...at least she had escaped without any major drama.

She was planning to head home to spend time with Lily.

Then her phone rang. It was Dr. Evelyn Hayes.

Given the massive shift in their relationship, Raelynn hesitated. Taking a steadying breath, she answered.

"Chairwoman Hayes?"

After everything that had happened with Sylvia Dalton, she couldn't just play happy family.

"I know, sweetheart. Giving you the estate isn't a bribe. A young woman needs a solid financial foundation. I'm not trying to buy your affection; I'm simply looking out for my own flesh and blood. Even if you never acknowledge him for the rest of your life, that's perfectly fine."

Evelyn had laid all her cards on the table.

Raelynn was completely speechless.

Since the day they met, Evelyn had shown her nothing but genuine protection and unwavering kindness.

She sighed. "I can come take a look."

Overjoyed, Evelyn eagerly agreed.

Raelynn looked down at her cake, then turned and ordered another cab.

Since she had been there before, she knew the drill.

Cabs usually weren't allowed past the gates, but security had obviously been alerted. The guards waved her straight through to the main entrance.

"Professor Ortiz! Raelynn!"
