Even a child understood such a simple truth.
Why did adults always blur the lines?
Sensing Raelynn's shift in mood, Chloe quickly changed the subject. "I'm producing a new show. The network is pushing traditional medicine, and they're doing special features on top medical firms. NexusMind Technologies is on the list. You should do it. I already mentioned it to Preston Moreno, and he recommended you."
There was no one more suited to promote traditional medicine than Raelynn.
"Is Mommy going to be on TV?" Lily asked, eyes wide with excitement.
"She sure is! Your mommy is so amazing, the whole world needs to see her," Chloe cooed, pitching her voice up playfully.
Raelynn laughed. "When is it? If my schedule allows, I'd love to."
If Preston had already secured the spot, she was willing to give it a shot.
"Then it's a date! With a face like yours, you're going to bring in massive ratings."
Raelynn wasn't opposed to it. Educating the public about traditional medicine was a noble cause. It was a long and difficult road, but an incredibly meaningful one.
Chloe dropped Lily off at Professor Alistair Finch's house.
Raelynn headed straight to the NexusMind lab to check on their progress.
The development team had been moving along steadily. However...
"Raelynn, Kingsford University is claiming our herbal extraction ratios are off. Ms. Vance wants to extend the trial period by a month. She says our formula clashes with their synthetic base," Rina reported anxiously.
Raelynn frowned. "Our ratios are off?"
She had overseen the entire process personally. The raw material ratios were critical, and after her rigorous calculations, they were flawlessly viable. All Kingsford University had to do was synthesize the materials properly.
"That's what Ms. Vance said. She's questioning our formula and demanding a one-month extension."
Raelynn let out a cold laugh.
She had never seen someone sugarcoat their own incompetence so beautifully.
Their team failed the extraction process, and now they were shifting the blame onto her.
Raelynn pulled on her gloves and strode into the Virology Analysis Lab, her voice dangerously calm. "Ten days max. If she can't handle it, tell her to step aside for someone competent and leave the team."
