Raelynn actually wanted to laugh.
*Was she seriously trying to milk all of my achievements?*
The other professors on the panel nodded approvingly as they flipped through the impressive credentials.
Raelynn, however, leaned forward and locked eyes with the candidate. "How much of the new drug project did you actually participate in? Were you credited as an author? What specific research is your independent team currently conducting? And regarding NexusMind's highly anticipated tumor surgical robot—which exact phases were you involved in? Please, elaborate."
Seraphina's expression darkened, a flash of pure indignation in her eyes.
Raelynn was obviously using her insider knowledge to intentionally make things difficult for her.
Did she just want to humiliate her right here in front of everyone?
Professor Polk and the others nodded in agreement. "Yes, please go into detail. This is standard procedure."
A prickle of nervous sweat broke out on Seraphina's brow.
Because she genuinely couldn't expand on those points.
Not with Raelynn—the actual mastermind behind the work—sitting right there on the panel, ready to publicly debunk every word.
Taking a deep breath, Seraphina forced a professional tone to steady herself. "I monitored the majority of the new drug project, though I wasn't involved in the clinical trials. NexusMind has all the records of my involvement. As for my team, our projects are still in the early development phase. And regarding the surgical robot, I have a deep cooperative partnership with them; I act as a crucial upstream supplier for their components."
Raelynn had to admire the woman's sheer audacity in dodging the heavy questions.
She effortlessly shifted the lion's share of credit for other people's hard work onto herself.
Raelynn gave a slow nod. "Why did you only monitor half of it? Was your specific research plan ever actually adopted during the process?"
Seraphina's face turned entirely glacial.
Raelynn was being far too vindictive!
She was clearly refusing to let this go.
She was absolutely certain that Raelynn was abusing her power on the panel to exact petty revenge.
It wasn't just jealousy over Sebastian's affection.
It was payback for Seraphina making things difficult for her at Keystone a few days ago.
That was exactly why she refused to let these ambiguous answers slide.
