Raelynn opened her phone to see if she could find the post.
She couldn't find it.
Instead, she found that all her personal information had been dragged out into the light. Her social media and phone were blowing up with friend requests and DMs filled with vile, vicious abuse.
— [Shameless trash! Hope karma gets you for wrecking a home!]
— [So desperate for a man you have to steal someone else's? We won't let you bully our Seraphina.]
— [Back off, or your whole family will pay. Hope your future kids get what's coming to them.]
Raelynn could have tolerated the attacks on herself.
But seeing Lily dragged into their sick curses made her blood boil.
Her hands shook as she gripped her phone.
How would average internet users get her private contact info?
Unless someone intentionally "leaked" it, there was no way she could have been doxxed this thoroughly!
Raelynn clenched her fists. "I need to wash my face."
She needed to calm down. She needed to pull herself together before handling this.
Preston looked at her, deeply concerned. "Okay."
Raelynn splashed freezing water onto her face.
She stared at her reflection in the mirror. She was pale, but her eyes were like ice.
She had been thinking that since the divorce was almost final, there was no need to cross Sebastian or the Croix family. No need to blow things out of proportion.
But now, she was entirely out of patience.
She grabbed a paper towel and headed for the door.
Just as she reached it.
She heard voices coming from the hallway.
"You really never know a person. She always seemed so nice, but I never imagined she could stoop so low."
Another voice chimed in, sounding even more indignant. "Tell me about it! I've actually seen the woman in that photo before. She came to our hospital with her husband and their kid. I even told Raelynn that day how happy they looked. I had no idea Raelynn had her eye on the poor woman's husband right then and there! It's sickening!"
"Seriously? Does she just make a habit of being the other woman? She sees what she wants and just steals it?"
