Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 645

Sebastian's voice remained perfectly level. He didn't even sound offended. The sheer, terrifying indifference of a man holding all the power pierced straight through Seraphina like a fatal blade.

Stabbing her right in the heart.

Her breath hitched violently, her eyes blowing wide with sheer disbelief.

The surrounding crowd hadn't expected the plot to take this turn either.

Whispers had already begun rippling through the room.

The elegant welcome banquet seemed to have been put on pause. The elite guests dropped their refined facades, absolutely ravenous for the unfolding scandal.

Raelynn had been annoyed that Seraphina had dragged her name into the public spectacle.

But now, she looked up in shock.

Her eyes darted from Seraphina to Sebastian.

What on earth was going on between them?

"Sebastian, what... what do you mean?" Seraphina finally snapped out of her daze, her voice trembling. She flatly refused to accept her worst nightmare coming true.

Sebastian leaned back slightly, his eyes darkening. "Two weeks pregnant. You know better than I do exactly whose child you're carrying."

Clink—

A wine glass slipped and bumped against a porcelain plate, the sound faint but noticeable.

Cameron had lost his grip on his glass, his expression darkening instinctively.

He glared intently at Seraphina, who was looking equally bloodless.

Seraphina froze, a massive wave of panic seizing her. She met Sebastian's permanently apathetic eyes, realizing that he hadn't changed at all. From the past to the present, his gaze had always been completely devoid of affection.

But she had been blinded by the filter of her own delusional romance.

She actually believed she had carved out a space in his heart.

Now, slapped brutally back to reality, she finally woke up. Sebastian had never... promised her a single damn thing.

"No..." Her eyes turned red. Desperate to escape the judging stares of the crowd, she lunged forward. "Sebastian, this is a misunderstanding! We were together that night, I swear! You've helped me so much, we had something so special..."

She was frantically grasping at straws.

And even less.

How Sebastian could have possibly doubted what happened that night, or the true origin of her baby.

"Sebastian, you're only treating me like this because of some misunderstanding, right? Is it Raelynn? Did her jealousy make her spread vicious lies about me? Sebastian, you know my heart belongs only to you!"

She sobbed, a picture of tragic beauty, tears streaming down her face as the guards prevented her from stepping an inch closer.

She refused to admit defeat. Because if she confessed now, she was entirely finished.

For whatever reason, Sebastian let his gaze drift toward Raelynn, locking onto her bewildered expression.

A fleeting, almost imperceptible scoff brushed his lips.

"This has absolutely nothing to do with Raelynn," he stated. "She isn't capable of something as trivial as jealousy."

Raelynn frowned instantly.

She couldn't help but feel Sebastian was taking a pointed jab at her.

But in the very next second.
