Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 677

After the call ended, Julian sat frozen in place for a long time. The suspicion grew stronger and stronger in his mind until his blood felt like it was boiling.

He gripped his phone, vaulted out of his chair, and sprinted toward the main living room.

It was Evelyn's day off.

She had been peacefully tending to her calligraphy and pruning her flowers, happily keeping herself busy.

When Julian burst in, he found Quentin sitting with her.

The father and son exchanged a look. Julian had no intention of offering a warm greeting, and Quentin was well accustomed to his son's lingering resentment, keeping his expression perfectly neutral.

"Grandma," Julian called out, stepping into the room.

Evelyn set her brush down. "I heard you stomping down the hall. What's the rush?"

Julian's lips parted, the secret practically burning on his tongue.

But he glanced at his father.

He remembered Sebastian's warning that Raelynn's identity was still an unverified theory. It wasn't something to broadcast.

But then again, it was just his father.

"Spit it out," Evelyn said, catching his hesitation. "If it's a decision I need to make, your father doesn't get a say anyway."

She was making it clear that Quentin's presence wouldn't change anything.

Julian glanced around the room.

Noting that Sylvia was nowhere to be seen.

Dropping his guard, he said, "I think I found a lead on my sister."

Evelyn froze.
