Sebastian finally shot him a dark look. "Regarding the data leak, I had my suspicions about you. I did want to find some evidence tracing back to you. I just never expected that you and your mother would stoop to this."
He turned to Forrest. "Seraphina mentioned she has recordings. We might as well take a listen."
Forrest gave Sebastian a long, hard look.
He raised a hand, signaling his men to verify it.
Cameron's face contorted in panic.
"Grandpa, don't listen to them..."
"Check it," Forrest ordered sharply.
Cameron's legs gave out, and he slumped into his chair.
He never anticipated Seraphina would blindside him like this.
Moments later.
An audio recording echoed through the room, causing the executives' faces to cycle through various shades of shock.
Cold sweat poured down Brenda's forehead. Her eyes lost focus. It was over...
She frantically looked at her husband, Eugene, whose face was now entirely somber. This situation...
It was a fatal stab to their branch of the family. They would never recover from this.
Raelynn unconsciously gripped the handles of the wheelchair tight.
Her gaze remained fixed on Seraphina's face. She knew Brenda was ruthless, but she never imagined she would torture Seraphina to this extent.
The fatal blow to Seraphina had been delivered by the second branch of the Croix family.
"You worthless scumbags!" Forrest roared in fury.
With that single thunderous shout.
The entire reception hall fell into dead silence.
Brenda was so terrified she didn't even dare to cry.
Cyrus's expression shifted subtly.
He cast a complicated look at his son. Not only had Sebastian saved his own skin, but he had dealt a devastating blow to the second branch...
When the dust settled.
The corporate structure would shift entirely. With Sebastian securing his foundation, a massive overhaul of the top management was imminent.
"Hand Seraphina over to the police," Forrest ordered, his face a thundercloud. "As for the rest of you..."
His piercing gaze swept across the room.
"Watch your backs!"
That horrifying realization was like a blade twisting in Seraphina's heart. She grew more and more certain. It had to be... it had to be...
No...
She shook her head in terror, frantically trying to smooth her disheveled hair, offering a smile that was uglier than crying. "Sebastian, you wouldn't be that cruel to me, would you? I..."
Raelynn vaguely understood what Seraphina was implying.
A flash of shock crossed her eyes as she looked down at Sebastian.
In that split second of distraction.
Seraphina suddenly lost her mind. Grabbing a fruit knife from the table, she lunged at Raelynn with venomous hatred.
Only then did Sebastian's gaze turn somber and predatory.
However.
His mobility was restricted. Just as he reached up to grab Raelynn's hand to pull her away.
A figure dashed forward, kicking Seraphina to the ground. The Croix family security rushed in and pinned her down.
Heart pounding in her chest, Raelynn looked up.
She saw Tristan Croix, who was looking at her with deep concern. "It's over. Don't be afraid."

The readers' comments on the novel: Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding
I think for as slow as the beginning was, their turning point is just so fast... really hope we actually get to read about R and S and their rekindle.... we did not read 950 pages for their story to be sidelined. Im for this sideline story, but it if it's to separate from the main characters and their story, please make it separate book....
Author please update more chapters...
I really like Zella, she is becoming a good friend to Raelynn. Ian needs to go. The relationship with Chloe is confusing. Some chapters they are cousins, sometimes they're sibling. A little confusing....
Julians role as big brother- I feel comes from a genuine place, but in a relationship thats is just as stained as Raelynns and Sebastians. It hard for me to connect to his big brother role as he too was such a problem before. And while they talked a little bit, the conversation did not give me the believe there was resolution between Raelynn and Julian. For a brute, he should make his feelings clear about the situation to Raelynn and then step back, until there is more foundation for him to stand on....
Knife in my heart. I hurt for Raelynn. She has made it this far, but how much does she have in her, everyone has a breaking point. Some back of me hopes the author is joking to lighten the mood after so many intense chapters, but thats not this kind of story or couple....
My heart cannot take this. This, cannot be how it ends with these too. They need resolution with each other. Raelynn needs to be more humanize with Sebastian. We know she is hurt, but this is the branch. She needs all these answers, if not for them to be together, then for Lily to have both her parents. Stop with the mind games Raelynn!...
Its like the story is just repeating itself...
Timeline is getting lost for me. So many treasured little memories Raelynn has but yet, he was gone for years ? Anyways... still rooting for them! These two need a heart to heart. Lily "forgetting" someone, not possible in this day and age and I hope thats not their storyline....
Sebastian, the man of few words.... needs to find all the words! Needs to fight for her! On note, seven years seems like a long time for this master plan (which I am sure goes back much farther). Rereading this novel, and it seems like everything has played out in a 5-8 month time span. And I feel like all Sebastian's doings/ plan have not been revealed. I hope we get to see the whole picture and have the resolutions we hope. But seven years of mistreatment, I just don't see Raelynn fully coming back. If these was 2-3 years, maybe, and I know it changes some characters around, but it would still work. Rooting for them!...
Literally on edge!...
