A fleeting look of loneliness crossed her face, quickly replaced by a vibrant, resilient smile. She flashed her dimples at Sebastian—dimples that bore a faint resemblance to Raelynn's. "You probably don't like excessive socializing either, Mr. Croix. Why don't you come hide out with me for a bit?"
Sierra seemed entirely devoid of calculation, wearing all her emotions on her sleeve.
She looked as though she had simply mustered the courage to make a friend.
There was a naive innocence to her that made it easy for people to drop their guard.
Yet, Sebastian's eyes remained entirely placid.
His gaze upon her was as cold as the night sky.
With almost zero inflection and a subtle, cutting sarcasm, he said, "Are you unaware of the boundaries between men and women, Ms. Yves? Inviting a man out for drinks at night—should I call you innocently ignorant, or just plain foolish?"
The sharpness of his words made Sierra's eyes widen.
She truly hadn't expected him to be so ruthlessly blunt in his rejection.
She instantly pressed her lips together, astonishment filling her large eyes. "Do you have some kind of misunderstanding or prejudice against me, Mr. Croix?"
Sebastian was clearly uninterested in answering.
His gaze turned predatory. "Are you really unaware of what happened to your mother, Ms. Yves?"
Sierra looked confused. "What?"
Sebastian casually spun his lighter. "Isn't Sylvia Dalton your mother?"
Even seated in his wheelchair, his upward gaze carried an overwhelming dominance, as if he were looking down on everything.
Sierra froze.
"Twenty years ago, you were adopted into The Yves Family. You became a wealthy heiress, enjoying the best resources they had to offer, treated everywhere as their sole daughter."
Sebastian's tone didn't waver. "Now that Raelynn is about to return to the Yves family, are you truly welcoming her with open arms?"
His mocking gaze made her heart pound with unease.
Stunned, disbelief flashed in Sierra's eyes. She bit her lip. "I have no reason not to. The Yves family gave me a second chance at life. Why would you assume such terrible things about me, Mr. Croix?"
Sebastian couldn't be bothered to argue right and wrong with her.

No, no, no! Sebastian needs to nip the Zella situation and win Raelynn back! Also, Leo, he is a wildcard for Sebastian's master plan... Sebastian- we know you know, what we know, win your family back!...

I think Ian is sly. He is not what he seems. Sebastian loves Raelyn and they have a daughter together. Besides he has no family to even take care of him. I feel Raelyn should realise that Sebastian is only her true love and go back to him....
