Donovan wasn't expecting much and only agreed to meet the candidate out of respect for Ethan. Following Giselle, he walked into the garden with a relaxed attitude.

"Don, look. This is the guy."

Ethan came up to Donovan with a grin on his face.

Following Ethan's gesture, Giselle gazed toward the stranger that the butler had brought.

Seeing the man, she was taken aback.

Compared to the last few towering, muscular bodyguards they'd interviewed, this man was starkly different. He wasn't wearing a sharp suit or any kind of formal attire. Instead, he was dressed in a simple dark T-shirt, jeans, and plain black shoes.

Apart from his ordinary attire, his build was ordinary too. He stood just under six feet, and while his body wasn't bulky, it was lean and solid.

His face wasn't conventionally handsome, but he had high cheekbones, a sharp jawline, and piercing, deep-set eyes that made him look cold and distant. There was something about him that made him seem unapproachable.

Meanwhile, Donovan was watching the man closely too.

As someone who had observed his share of people, Donovan immediately sensed something different about this man. His gaze lingered longer than usual, as if he wanted to get a sense of who this man truly was.
