The next morning, Donovan returned from Nihoro.

Giselle skipped going to the office and went to the airport early to pick him up. Chris drove her as usual.

Donovan kissed her a few times with a smile and whispered some comforting words. Mindful of her pregnancy, he set her down gently.

Seeing this intimate scene, the people around them cast envious glances. Since they were such a stunning couple, their public display of affection was more charming than annoying.

But not far away, Chris' gaze froze when he witnessed this.

He stood rooted to the spot, staring at them in a trance.

It was not until he noticed Donovan looking his way after the intimate moment that he snapped back to reality. He quickly switched back to bodyguard mode and went to take the luggage from the assistants.

Chris loaded the luggage into the trunk. After closing it, he saw the couple approaching and immediately opened the rear door respectfully, ushering them in.
