When she returned home and saw the silver–rimmed glasses on top of the dresser, she realized that at some point, he had left them there.

She immediately made a call. “Hey, you forgot your glasses.”

Sebastian had just stepped out of the elevator. His lazy voice drawled slowly, “Ah, those. I forgot about them. I’m already in my car, so I’ll get them from you next time.”

He didn’t wait for her to respond before hanging up.

Serena felt puzzled. Couldn’t she give them to him over the weekend?

The next day, before Serena even arrived at the company, she received a call from her father.

“Rena, the news about your sister online–was that your doing?”

Serena frowned. “What news?”

Donald paused. “It wasn’t you?”

From his tone, She could roughly guess what happened.

Donald hung up the phone irritably. Looking at his daughter, who had cried herself unconscious on the couch, only made him more annoyed.

“I already said it wasn’t your sister! You did it, so why are you pinning it on her?”
