Chapter 83 She Has Another Man
Chapter 83 She Has Another Man
Trevor pivoted sharply and headed off without another glance back.
Whatever faint sympathy he’d felt for her evaporated almost instantly.
His mind fixated on one thing alone–identifying the man she’d been seeing.
So that’s how it is. Serena rushes to end our engagement because she already has another man hidden away?

As he came closer, Trevor nearly ran straight into her. Serena was squatting in the corner, her gaze fixed silently on the pale candles.
“You-”
The words “the other man” lodged in his throat, refusing to come out.
“Are you all right?” His voice was restrained and distant, yet his eyes betrayed his anxiety.
Serena briefly looked up, registered his presence, and then turned her gaze aside.
“Thanks. I’m okay.”
“Serena, stop forcing yourself to be strong. If you need help, say it.”
“Really?” Her reply was so soft it barely carried.
She watched one of the white candles burn down to nothing. Then she stood and asked softly, “If I ask for something, will you agree?”
“Yes.” Afraid she might ask for something unreasonable, Trevor quickly added, “As long as it’s within my ability.”
“Good.”
The curve of Serena’s lips hovered between a smile and a sneer. “Trevor, I want you to disappear from my life completely. Can you do that?
“All I’m asking is this–I never want to see you again.
“Can you grant me that, Trevor?”
Trevor couldn’t remember how he managed to get back to the hall, but Amber immediately noticed something was off.
“What happened? You look shaken,” she asked with concern.
His thoughts were a mess; he hadn’t even begun to process what he’d heard.
‘Amber, Trevor went to find Serena just now. I think he caught her with another man. From now on, she won’t be a problem for you
anymore.‘
Amber glanced at the notification and understood at once.

She didn’t like it, yet she knew Serena still occupied a corner of his heart.

Kyana, however, had no intention of mentioning Sebastian at all. In her eyes, Sebastian already belonged to her–a man who looked like a god, and one she was certain would be hers.
As for what had happened earlier, it was nothing more than Serena exploiting sympathy. Just a pathetic performance.
She refused to dwell on it. If anyone was at fault, it was Serena herself.
Amber slipped her phone away. Trevor, seated beside her, said casually, “It’s nothing. I probably woke up too early. Just exhausted.”
Amber didn’t press the issue. “Then go home and get some rest.”
Trevor was too distracted to notice the look she gave him.
Lucinda stayed behind, refusing to leave Serena alone. “Rena, if you feel like crying, don’t hold it in.”
Serena shook her head. “Lucy, I don’t want to cry.”
