Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 124

"What's wrong?" Bianca touched the top of her head. "Is there something on my head?"

Vivienne shook her head and handed her the comic book. "Weren't you just asking what I was reading?"

"Yeah."

Bianca took the comic and flipped through it casually. She'd read this one before. It was about a villainess who suddenly awakens, gets a cheat-like power, and starts to win over the male lead. In the end, the male lead, the second male lead, the third, and even the fourth all become her devoted admirers.

Vivienne liked this kind of story?

"I was just thinking about what I could do in the future."

Bianca blinked, completely failing to understand why Vivienne would be thinking about something like that.

Vivienne asked, "Bianca, have you ever thought about what kind of person you want to be when you grow up?"

Bianca shook her head. "Ever since I found out my family was super rich, I stopped thinking about it. No matter what I do with my life, I know I'll never be too badly off."

She glanced at Vivienne, curious. "What about you? What kind of person do you want to be in the future?"

Vivienne thought for a moment. "If nothing unexpected happens, I think I'd like to be a painter."

"A painter?" That was another answer Bianca hadn't expected at all.

But she respected any decision Vivienne made and immediately said, "A painter is great! When you have an exhibition, I'll invest in you. You can paint whatever you want."

"What about you?" Vivienne asked again.

Bianca scratched her head, feeling inexplicably frustrated. "I don't know. I've really never thought about it. When you ask me that, my brain just feels like mush."

Vivienne pulled her hand down. "Then start thinking about it seriously, starting today."

Bianca was taken aback. "Think about what?"

Sometimes a storm would roll in, the thunder booming and raindrops pelting the eaves like a volley of arrows. The dark clouds pressing down on the town created the illusion of a city under siege. Other times, the summer breeze would play with the shadows, white clouds would drift by, and the sky would be a pure, serene blue from a painter's palette, creating a peaceful and comfortable quietude.

One ordinary afternoon.

"Vivienne, I've got it!"

Bianca suddenly clapped her hands and shouted, grabbing Vivienne's arm.

The tip of Vivienne's brush paused. The red she had intended to dab onto the sea to embellish the sunrise instead landed on the sunken ship at the bottom of the lake...

She looked up at Bianca and saw her eyes blazing with a newfound, manic intensity.

"I want to be president!"

Vivienne's eyes trembled, and the paintbrush slipped from her fingers.
