Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 881

Talia couldn't shake a nagging sense of unease.

Determined to keep Vivienne from being snatched up by some useless rich boy, she headed straight to Vellmont Lodge first thing in the morning.

Vivienne was surprisingly up early, playing with Little Stray in the courtyard. She looked up, genuinely startled to see Talia.

"What brings you here?"

Hearing her, the four housekeepers rushed out to accommodate their guest, pulling out chairs and pouring fresh water with practiced efficiency.

"Don't tell me you brought more gifts," Vivienne joked, settling back into her wheelchair.

Talia didn't answer right away. She just stared at her, assessing her.

It was no wonder those wealthy scumbags were circling like vultures. Even Talia, who had seen it all, had to admit the girl was devastatingly gorgeous. It was the kind of aggressive, radiant beauty that immediately turned anyone standing next to her into background noise.

Vivienne blinked, looking down at herself in confusion. "What is it?"

"Reginald Montclair came by yesterday," Talia said flatly. "He proposed an arranged marriage too."

"A proposal?" Vivienne scowled. Why was she hearing that outdated concept twice in one day? She suddenly froze, her lips twitching. "Don't tell me..."

Talia nodded. "Yes. The Montclairs want you, too."

Vivienne looked absolutely repulsed.

She could somewhat understand Kael's psycho plan to trap and kill her, but what the hell was Harrison Montclair playing at?

Over the last two years, outside of casually beating him up, they had zero interaction. Why were the Montclairs joining the circus?

It was too much of a coincidence. She had just wrecked Serena Lowe's engagement, and suddenly two powerful families were knocking on the door. Was the storyline trying to screw with her again?
