Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 205

"Me?"

Pushed past the brink of sanity, Harrison completely lost his mind and raised a hand to strike Vivienne.

Before his hand could even connect, Cyril intercepted him, clamping an iron grip around his wrist. With a swift motion, he tossed Harrison aside like a bag of trash.

"You can mess with me," Cyril warned, "but you don't get to touch her."

"Exactly!" Vivienne immediately darted behind Cyril. "Just borrowing you as a shield."

"Damn it!" Harrison face-planted into the dirt once more. His composure fully shattered as he roared at Bernard, who was lingering nearby. "How long are you just going to stand there? Help me out!"

Bernard's eye twitched. While he wasn't afraid of Cyril—who was just an illegitimate son—he was extremely wary of the person Vivienne allegedly had on the phone.

However, everyone at school knew he and Harrison were thick as thieves. If he bailed now, his reputation would be dragged through the mud.

Sensing his friend's hesitation, Harrison gritted his teeth and forced himself to his feet.

He had already crossed the line. If he walked away now, the entire elite circle would know that the legitimate heir of the Montclair family got played by the Ravenshire's illegitimate son and their adopted daughter.

Harrison rubbed his aching ribs, a sudden flicker of suspicion crossing his mind. Since the start of this mess, the elder Mr. Ravenshire hadn't said a single word through the phone. Was this a bluff?

Right as Harrison hesitated, Vivienne's ringtone pierced the air.

The chaotic scene plunged into an eerie, dead silence.

Vivienne jumped in surprise. She immediately rejected the call, her face flushing with embarrassed fury as she locked eyes on a specific figure in the crowd. "Isabella! What the hell is your problem?"

Isabella had planned to slip away the moment she dialed Vivienne's number to expose her, but she hadn't expected to be called out in front of everyone. The surrounding students, eager for drama, parted like the Red Sea, leaving Isabella isolated in the center of the clearing.

"I'm sorry," Isabella said, her eyes welling with crocodile tears. "It was just so chaotic, and I wanted to find you. I didn't mean to..." She paused, taking on a lecturing tone. "But Vivienne, you shouldn't lie like that. If Grandpa knew you were using his name to throw your weight around and bully people, he would be furious."
