Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 216

"Good evening. Caspian is well aware that you all had an incredibly exhausting day. He has prepared a lavish dinner for you. Please, proceed to the side dining room."

The six teenagers exchanged nervous glances, but no one dared to question the order. They obediently followed Cedric through the sprawling estate.

Bianca linked her arm through Vivienne's and whispered, "What kind of mind game is he playing? We just caused a massive riot, and instead of screaming at us, he's feeding us?"

Vivienne shot her a sideways glance, completely ignoring the question. "How's your appetite lately?"

"My appetite?" Bianca thought about it. "It's actually been amazing. I don't know what's going on, but I've been eating non-stop and I'm not even a picky eater anymore. My mom even joked to Tessa the other day that I'm turning into a little piglet who would probably eat slop if it was put in front of me."

Vivienne smiled. "That's fantastic."

"Why is that fantastic?" Bianca looked entirely confused.

When they entered the dining room, the long mahogany table was set with a large clay pot and six individual ceramic soup bowls.

"Please, take a seat," Cedric said, his expression completely unreadable.

Alaric scanned the massive room. "Where is Caspian?"

"He has already dined," Cedric replied smoothly. "This was prepared exclusively for you."

Bianca was starving. Hearing that Caspian wasn't going to join them, she practically dragged Vivienne to the table.

"Hurry! Let's see what amazing food he had the chef make for us!"

Humming happily, Bianca lifted the lid of her bowl.

Instantly, the color drained from her face, and she slammed the lid back down.

"Ugh! What the hell is that?!" she gasped, gagging. "Did the kitchen make a mistake?!"

Cedric shook his head. "There is no mistake. This is the Hog's Head Broth that Caspian personally ordered for you. He specifically requested that no one waste a single drop."

"What kind of broth?" Julian asked, convinced he had misheard.

Cedric smiled politely. "Hog's Head Broth."

Vivienne, of course, knew exactly why they were treating the soup like a biohazard. In her previous life, everyone had thrown up violently after the first bite. The incident traumatized them so deeply that none of them could even walk into this dining room for months without feeling sick.

"Why isn't anyone eating?" she asked, her voice laced with mock innocence.

She reached for her lid, but Bianca instantly grabbed her wrist.

"Vivi, wait. You need to mentally prepare yourself before you open that."

"I'll be fine," Vivienne smiled, gently peeling Bianca's fingers away before ripping the lid off.

"!"

Bianca recoiled, holding her breath.

The putrid, decaying stench filling the room wasn't just soup. It was a chemical weapon.

But Vivienne completely ignored the horror unfolding around her. She casually picked up the bowl of Hog's Head Broth and took a massive, unflinching gulp.
