Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 264

Vivienne frowned in confusion.

Cyril the turtle just swore in public?

Did he just... completely lose it?

Bianca cautiously hugged her shoulders, her gaze darting between Cyril and Sienna. She finally leaned her head against Vivienne. "Did Julian just practically read out Cyril's social security number to her?"

"..." Vivienne smoothly pushed Bianca's head away.

"..." Julian let out a cold snort, taking one final bite of his apple right in front of Cyril before casually hurling the core straight at Vivienne's forehead.

It wasn't thrown hard, but the aim was dead on. It knocked the narrative illusions right out of Vivienne's head.

"Plan this well. No slacking off." With a wave of his hand, he shot Cyril a sideways grin and swaggered past the group, acting as if he owned the place.

"..."

The apple core rolled across the ground before coming to a stop right by Cyril's feet.

Sienna felt incredibly awkward. She looked up at Cyril, wanting to say something, but ultimately kept her mouth shut.

Bianca wasn't one to feel secondhand embarrassment. As soon as Julian left, she immediately perked back up. "Are you really the new President's daughter?"

Sienna nodded. "Yeah."

Bianca pressed, "Is being the President super busy? What time do you wake up and go to sleep every day?"

Sienna was thrown for a loop but still answered earnestly. "When it's busy, it's really busy. My dad usually gets up around 5:00 AM, but his sleeping schedule is pretty unpredictable."

Bianca fired off another question. "Does the President write his own speeches, or does he pay top dollar for someone else to do it?"

"What are you talking about?" Sienna's face instantly heated up again.

The smile at the corner of Cyril's mouth faded entirely. Giving a slight nod, he cast a cool, brief glance at Vivienne before turning on his heel and walking away without looking back.

Sienna froze. Before she even had time to wonder what was wrong with Cyril, Bianca was already pulling her away.

"Sienna, what kind of books does your dad usually read?"

"Huh?" Sienna thought for a second. "My dad reads a really wide variety. Stuff like Things Fall Apart, The Great Experiment, The Dawson Chronicle... tons of stuff."

Vivienne looked down at the apple core on the ground, gently rubbing the tip of her nose.

Was Julian completely psychotic? Did he genuinely not care about the consequences? Was he seriously trying to piss off every single person in the room at once?
