Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 300

Evelyn was completely paralyzed by the shock. She never imagined that her careless insult would cost them billions of dollars in inheritance. If Vivienne truly inherited all of the patriarch's personal wealth, every single branch of the family would have to bow down and worship the girl like royalty.

Cedric stood frozen. The mandate was so catastrophic that he genuinely hesitated to carry it out.

"Dad! Dad, no!" Abandoning all thought of protecting Lara, Evelyn collapsed in despair, pleading frantically. "Dad, please, calm down! I was wrong! I never should have upset you! Please don't do something so rash. Alaric and the boys are right here—you can't break their hearts like this!"

A flicker of deep shock crossed Alaric's eyes. He had sensed his grandfather's favoritism toward Vivienne—why else would he intervene in this mess during such a critical event?—but he never expected the bias to be this extreme. Between all seven Ravenshire heirs in the room, not one of them could measure up to her.

A suffocating silence settled over the room. Everyone shared the exact same mix of profound astonishment and bitter disappointment. After all, who wouldn't want to be the sole recipient of Caspian's boundless favor?

Cyril stared at Vivienne from across the room. She was much calmer than he had anticipated, yet looking closely, she wasn't just detached. There was a tightly coiled, unspoken emotion hiding in the depths of her eyes.

"Vivi, come here," Caspian beckoned softly.

Vivienne stood up and walked over to him.

He patted her gently on the head before leveling his cane at Evelyn again. "At my age, how much time do I realistically have left? You all claim to be so dutiful, yet you're dead set on making my final years as miserable as possible?"

Wiping the cold sweat from her forehead, Evelyn looked completely defeated.

"I'm drawing the line right now," Caspian declared fiercely. "I have bled for this family my entire life. I owe the Ravenshires absolutely nothing. All of you sit in high castles with unimaginable power—I owe you nothing, either. Vivi is the only child I have ever chosen of my own free will. This is what I owe her. So let this be a warning to every single one of you: I am the one standing behind her. The next time you think about crossing her, you'd better make damn sure you have the power to take me down first!"

The sheer dominance in his voice left no room for debate. Not a single person dared to speak.

Evelyn had never seen Caspian unleash such terrifying wrath. She sat on the floor, shaking uncontrollably.
