Mina's tone was flat. "I didn't see him."

Assuming her friend was upset over a romantic setback, Sophia immediately tried to comfort her. "It's fine. Cyril is back anyway. If you didn't catch him at school, just send him a text."

Mina felt a surge of irritation and snapped, "Text him what? He completely ignores me."

Sophia froze, then let out an awkward laugh. "Mina, what's wrong with you today?"

Realizing she was overreacting, Mina abruptly stood up. "Sorry. I'm just in a terrible mood today. Don't talk to me." With that, she shifted her gaze toward Vivienne.

Vivienne had already woken up and was whispering back and forth with Bianca.

Mina hesitated for a second before turning and walking out of the classroom.
